Have had a blast reading everyone's comments today! I can hear your pride and happiness and it's great! Thank You! My girlfriend, buddy (who's a CC fan but was cheering for UND), and his girlfriend, and I went bananas last night when Gaarder scored! What a great feeling!

When will Denver and C. Springs get off their asses and bid for the regionals again?!?! Attendance at the regionals there was really good.

We moved down to some lower seats on Friday with no problems but the couple next to us got booted out...so arbitrary!

My gf and I are flying out from Denver tomorrow morning. We're staying at the Best Western Normandy Suites near the Target Center. Free shuttle to the arena but I hear it's within walking distance. I'm glad we get to pack our UND gear rather than our CC gear!

I gotta tip my hat to my alma mater, the CC Tigers. While I didn't get to see the game, my folks were there and my dad said that CC really left it all out on the ice. Thank you to seniors Josh Thorimbert, Alexander Krushelnyski, Michael Morin, Eamonn McDermott, Jeff Collette, and Archie Skalbeck. A bunch of class acts and they really played hard and didn't give up. Congrats to my all-time favorite hockey team-UND! We're going to the Frozen Faceoff! Way to face adversity and rise to the challenge!

And a USA and Finland hat each to boot!

I'm not going to say I predicted this but for as many UND/CC games that I've seen over the years, I did not like this match up. That said, enough bitching about it, it's the series we were dealt with. I'm calling for a UND win by at least 2 or 3 goals tomorrow as the boys in green are probably going to stew on this loss and come out hard from the opening face off.

I never thought my girlfriend and I might have to be packing our CC gear instead of our UND gear for Minneapolis.

Miami's kindof a strange team-last week, I went to the Miami/DU game at Magness and DU was all over them, score should've been like 9-2. Then, Miami comes back on Saturday and plays much better.

Plus, it doesn't help if teams like Notre Dame beat BC.

Yah, and from what I remember, friends of mine at that game said UNO was off sides by a country mile just prior to scoring in that 1-0 victory.

Anyone know if that Fox Sports North Plus channel is in Dish Network?

As a UND fan who's gone to almost every CC home game plus three road series, I hope I offer a unique perspective on them. What makes me nervous is, despite the outcome last weekend, CC did not pack it in, particularly on Saturday night. What they lack in depth, they make up for in effort. Plus, it seems like year in and year out, CC and North Dakota always play fast-paced, clean games that are usually close on the scoreboard. If UND matches CC's effort, they should win as UND has more talent and depth. Just one guy's opinion.

Good point. As dismal as CC's pp is, I believe they scored at least a couple on us back in January.

I think the grind of the long season had caught up with CC goalie Josh Thorimbert. If you look at his stats, they aren't impressive, particularly over the past couple of games he's played (3 in the first five minutes against UNO and I believe 4 last Friday against St. Cloud). That said, he's a solid goaltender who hasn't gotten much help from his D men nor offensive help from his forwards and centers. Kinda hard to win when your team averages at or below two goals a game. Key for UND is to throw lots of pucks at him.

I was leaving the CC game and talking with a friend of mine who said he didn't do a post game with Hennessy... I found that hard to believe and as it turns out, it sounds like he was incorrect.

I hear Hak wouldn't do a post game interview. What's up with that?
