A buddy of mine claims that Caggiula's goal was the top play on Sports Center. Can this be confirmed?

This just announced...The Battle on Blake coming up in Feb. between CC and DU will be televised on Root Sports.

NHL Network re-aired the Canada/Finland game this afternoon. With just under ten minutes left in the game and a tie game, there was a penalty called on Canada and the camera went in on the Canada team bench and did any of you catch the team Canada fan sitting behind the Canada coach tear to shreds a paper Finland flag??? I couldn't believe what I was seeing! He and his buddy were laughing about it as the guy tearing it up was so boisterous about it too! Very disrespectful.

What's up with Siouxsports.com? There's no weekend preview for te series this weekend and the site has been off and on all weekend.

Does it seem odd that Fox Sports North isn't televising the championship game of the Mariucci Classic??

DU and Notre Dame went to the three-on-three OT. Wow! It was everything it was billed to be! Both teams with some great chances!

UAH played as expected-they knew they were the less skilled team and they packed it in tight in their D zone and must've iced the puck about twenty times tonight.

Totally. And you're right-they have two solid goaltenders....that can help an inferior team any day. Side bar-I'd strongly recommend folks make a trip down to Huntsville to visit the NASA space and rocket museum. That was a blast! (pun intended)

On paper, UND should roll easily against the Chargers but that's what makes me a little nervous-they're coming up to GF and will be playing with house money. It kinda reminds me of that game against Air Force. UAH will play hard despite their lack of depth and talent. Hopefully UND will come out hard.

I went to Huntsville a few weeks ago for the CC/UAH series. I had a great time, seeing two evenly matched teams go head to head. I know CC is down but to others' point about helping out up and comers, I was glad to see an established program such as CC sign a home-and-home contract with UAH in order to help them build their program. A rising tide lifts all boats.

I see that AJ Greer has left BU.

CC's struggles continue. 2-1 loss but a very entertaining game.

Peter Maric of CC said to us last night that UAH had some of the worst ice they've seen...it showed as the puck was skipping around a lot. Lots of mis-handled passes, etc by both teams. Question: does anyone know if UND plans on coming to Huntsville next season in a home and home agreement with the Chargers? If so, I'd highly recommend UND fans coming out here-the space and rocket museum was phenomenal! Always nice to take a road trip and see some cool things in addition to hockey!

Downing's elbow looked very similar to Minnesota's flying elbow from a few weeks ago against St. Cloud. He tee'd up the Gopher player with the puck and left his feet upon contact.
