Yah, my fiancé thought that was pretty knarly. I've asked her if I could hold onto these unwashed items for next season and she emphatically said, "hell no!"

For the record, I wore the exact same socks, undershirt and underwear (unwashed of course) for all four games for good luck!

After UND's win last night, I admitted to my fiancé that I wore the same socks, underwear, undershirt, pants, shirt, and shoes. Kinda gross but, hey, it worked!

If Miami were to go to the Big, and a CCHA conference was formed, who'd make up the six teams in the CCHA? -Western, BG, NMU, MTU, Ferris, and who else am I missing?

They also went to Notre Dame and swept them in the HE quarterfinals.

From my vantage point DU controlled play almost the entire 3rd period against SCSU but could only muster 5 shots. St. Cloud kept DU to the perimeter and prevented any of those passing lanes and back door passes that DU likes to make.

So who's out?

After the third place game some UND fans were heading out to go over to the Excel.

We were at Target Center today and saw a lady Badger fan with a sign that read, "Hey BIG Hockey, look where I'm spending my dollars!"

My better half came up with a new cheer for Omaha fans: "MOO YAH YAH! YAH MOO MOO!"

So some Gopher fans are still harping on 0.6 over on the comments section of an article in the Star Tribune. It would be a classic dig if it weren't for the fact that the Gophers laid a big ole egg two nights later against Union (thank you Union!).

But then I realized she hadn't because we had more fans at our game!

I'm telling ya, when I first saw this picture, I thought my girlfriend took it at Family Sports Arena in Centennial, CO last Sunday night at my old man league game!

Sounds like my beer league team, Trainwreck, gets more fan support from its girlfriends, wives, and kids than what the BIG tournament is generating.

I went to the UNO/DU game tonight....wow. What a great game! Wished Omaha had won but they left everything out on the ice. It had all of the intensity of a big time NCAA tourney game. Great pace and flow. Back and forth, end-to-end.

For the newbies, I highly recommend the lobster Thermidor or the steak Oscar.
