It appears that a lot of tickets have been sold so far. I just went on ticketmaster to see where the best seats available are, and they are currently in section 201, which is one of the four corner sections--which are also the four smallest sections in the Alerus. I would think a crowd in the 12,000 to 13,000 vicinity is a very real possibility.

I have a group of friends who are coming and they are just going to get tickets at the door, they don't care where they sit.
I'd imagine they will sell a lot of tickets this way as well, so if they have already sold a decent amount of tickets now, it will probably be a big crowd on saturday.

This is probably one of the silliest polls I have ever seen. Of course it is going to be nearly 100% keep the name, that's what we all want. Just keep in mind that it is a case of preaching to the choir and not any sort of scientific result before we bask in the glory of the results.

Player to watch: Robbie Bina. The would-be junior defenseman just received clearance to skate after suffering a broken neck on an illegal hit during last season's WCHA Final Five. Bina will likely take a medical hardship year, but if can return late in the season, he could provide a big spark on the blueline.

Dr. K: The middle ground here is to manage things in a way that's less offensive. We've tried mightily to do that. Every complaint that's been brought to me has been dealt with. If there are things we can do to make it less offensive, let's identify them and make them less offensive.
