I'm in 113 and got my seats. The letter that was sent to season ticket holders did state that we might not get our seats. I didn't know until now why not. Thanks for the info. It would be nice to know why we may not get our seats (even though it didn't affect me).

I read it in the Herald one day that some of the sections had to be reserved for the fans of other teams, parents, bands from other schools. I wonder how many tickets they had to reserve for them.

Great recap PCM. It was a fun game to watch, it is always a treat to see young players go out there and have a good game. In this case, we seen several freshman have solid games.

I am no computer whiz so it doesn't look the greatest but I have always wanted to see an alternate jersey like this:
I am one fan who would like to see the UND flame logo incorporated more into the sports programs. I am not a huge fan of the "Notre Dame'ish" ND on jerseys.

No thanks, I hate the flame logo. I think that it should stay separate from the athletic teams.

Happened to watch a couple TSN telecasts on center ice. Those announcers are the best, although the game always seems to have to involve Toronto. Does CBC still do Hockey Night in Canada?

I'm glad to have hockey back, but OLN definitely has some room for improvement. The studio and graphics look like something straight out of the 1970s. Bill Clement is an analyst, not a studio host.
The camera work has been terrible.

I believe everyone who will be drinking at any park in Grand Forks will need a permit, year round.

Though there is nothing wrong with people kicking back and having a good time, I find it sadly amusing that, in order for people to get together and "kick back and have a good time" massive amounts of alcohol must be consumed.
If that wasn't the case, then why can't you have Springfest every weekend? There's nothing stoping the student populace from gathering in a location and just hanging out together without alcohol. But, alas, that doesn't provide the "good time" part of it.
I liked Springfest before its name changed to Drunkfest. There's more to life then what's found in a bottle.

You shouldn't judge people who go to Springest every year to have a couple drinks (legally) and to see their friends and hang out.

If they got a big enough order for the green and white colors, it might be profitable for them to do do. Doesn't hurt to ask. On the other hand, having a tee shirt printed up with non-trade marked words is something anyone can have done. I remember have Gerrells make t-shirts for some of my boys athletic activities.

I sent them an e-mail asking if all of the tees were black. I would be interested in a few that were a green color with white print similar to Sioux Crew. It would show even more pride if they were in our school colors. Would anyone else be interested in getting a few in green? Maybe they would be willing to have an order printed up.
EDIT: Maybe even have a few printed up in pink. I am sure there are some people that would order pink ones. Plus, pink is one of our school colors.

The girls ordered the shirts with their own money. It was cheaper to get one big order of the same color. They are not Scheels, they are two broke college students.

I love this rule. I noticed last night that a lot of teams were trying to skate out of their defensive zone instead of just throwing it the length of the ice. This creates more turnover and chances for goals. I wouldn't mind seeing a ban on icing during a penalty kill either.

I love watching the games that start on the east coast, and then switching over to the west coast games. You pretty much catch two complete games that way.

If you read my full post you'd understand that my opinion is He's ok with Americans in the NHL. It's a fact of life. That being said, he chose Bo for the Calder because he is on a Canadian team. It would make no sense to do it any other way except for a Canadian on a Canadian team and right now there's no one that fits that mold.
EDIT: So basically, my opinion is of Don Cherry's order of importance:
1. Canadians on Canadian teams
2. Americans on Canadian teams
3. Canadians on American teams
4. Americans on American teams
5. Europeans on Canadian teams
6. Who cares about Europeans on American teams.

You have a post on what you think Don Cherry's order of importance of players is, that is funny stuff.
I definitely do not agree with Don Cherry on a lot of things, but he is entertaining and he loves hockey. I enjoy watching Coaches Corner on saturday nights, because you never know what is going to come out of his mouth.
And Don Cherry is a very big supporter of American hockey players.

Ed (Grand Forks): Do you feel like North Dakota was underrated in the preseason polls? It would seem that adding Lee, Chorney and the rest of that recruiting class to a Frozen Four team, they ought to be a lot higher.
Adam Wodon: Well, North Dakota lost a lot of players from last year's team, including Brady Murray and Matt Greene, who left early for the pros. They have a lot of talent, but so do the other 4 teams rated ahead of them in the WCHA. They had a magical run in the NCAAs last year, and they could certainly do it again, but other teams deserve to be higher at this point. Their recruiting class wasn't the same as Michigan's, Minnesota's or Denver's for example, despite Chorney and Lee.

Mr. Wodon doesn't give much love to the Sioux's recruiting class this year. Has he heard of Toews, Oshie, maybe Finley?
