It will be fun to watch the Parise vs Suter matchup throughout the weekend. These two are obviously great players and it makes it that much more fun to know they have a long history against and with each other.

I always like to read what reporters from other towns and teams are saying about UND. It is fun to get someone else's views on this team.

Thought it was funny how Lennon admitted that they lost some recruits to NDSU, but Bohl said they signed the five kids from the state of North Dakota they wanted. I guess he forgot about Trenbeath who said he was recruited heavily by NDSU.

I heard RT on the radio yesterday and I got the impressions that everyone might be in for a shock in the next week. Whatever that meant I don't know.

After listening to the show last night, I'm thinking we will see Parise in net on friday night. Just the way Blais said he didn't know who was going to start, makes me lean toward Parise.

I have cable modem through Midcontinent. I think it is really reasonable. You can now get a package deal if you have your tv through them or now their new phone service.

I guess the first question would be, where do you live?

I'm beginning to think that there are many people who would like to see that happen, and sadly, these are people who hold positions of power. Are some of the chants tasteless and vulgar? No doubt Are there some fans who get out of hand? OF course and they can deal with these types of people accordingly. Anytime this is brought up, people like to say that they are not trying to single out the students nor do they want to take anything away from the atmosphere the students bring to the games, but if you look back over the last couple of seasons, the students have had to give up a lot and it looks like Kupchella's head hunting mission could only make it worse. It is a hockey game, not a church service.

It is not really ideal golfing weather in grand forks these days, so must be a little partying going on for the golf team.

The women's games are fun to watch. They are a lot better than I thought they were going to be. It will take time for this program to develop and create a solid fan base.

thanks for the recap It will be really fun to see the Sioux play in front of another hostile crowd. I really don't think that type of atmosphere really affects this team at all.

I thought it was pretty cool for the Parise brothers to be awarded the honors in the same week.

I have to respectfully disagree with your post. Although Baker was a very respectable man who took in the opinions and views from every side of every issue, he was looking at getting rid of the name. I guess that since a couple years have passed, some people want to forget that about the "Almighty Baker".

Chuck is way too arrogant for me. You never see the guy pop his head into classes like Baker did. All the tv channels carried stories on the news last night regarding Kupchella and his crackdown on sportsmanship at games. I'm interested to see how they go about the crackdown.

I had no problem with Baker and I liked the fact that you would see him on campus. But lets not forget who was the guy to suggest UND start using the geometric style logo on the hockey jerseys. He didn't leave on good terms with some big donors, lets just leave it at that.
