The offense struggled for much of this game but I can't help but think of how this offense might be if they had that deep threat like Georges. Mercer has really come on late this season but he's still not a major speed threat to stretch defenses. Wanzek and Toivenen are outstanding possession receivers but again, they aren't going to really push teams to stop crowding the line. Give that deep threat, make teams second guess dropping the safety down into the box, and open up that potential of a run lane, or bring the safety down and risk Georges going over the top in man coverage.

It is but as of this week we were still out of the top 8. The playoff committee and the rankings have consistently not given UND much credit so far. Do I think UND should be seeded? You bet. Do I think it'll happen when the final rankings are put out? I really don't know.

Hopefully Stockwell's injury isn't too severe and he'll be ready to go if necessary in 2 weeks, but hopefully 3 weeks.

UND is a lock for the playoffs, not sure if they'll have enough momentum with the bye week next week to stay in the top 8.

Tale of two halves for both the defense and Studsrud. We don't win this game without Studsrud in that final quarter and a half. The defense also got stop after stop. NAU got conservative in the second half but still have to give the D full credit, plus they scored the game winning touchdown!

NAU might be their own worst enemy on offense right now. They seem to have abandoned the quick passing game and their offense has stagnated.
