Coach Knaupf. So the o-line coach knew exactly what he was bringing in.

There's nothing wrong with transfers. Every school does them. Some are graduate transfers like Coe and Braden Hanson. Others are community college kids that might not have had the grades initially out of high school. Every school will pick some of those up, including the big P5 schools. Also speaking of transfers, don't forget Mercer or Clive Georges, both of which were transfers.

Losing Coe next year will be a blow. He has been absolutely fantastic this year along the line. Going from center, to right tackle, to left tackle. He's done everything asked in just a single season.

With all the o-line woes this year, couldn't help but think of how it might be had Grady stayed. Would have been a blast to see and I think it would have alleviated some of the run block woes, but alas, was not to be.

Listen to this guy talking like he knows anything. Doubt he's followed a single minute of UND football this year.

Am I just comparing to last year's team or does this years look a bit slow?

This year is just hard to watch right now because of how fantastic last years team was. There's still that expectation of last year's level of play and this team just isn't up to that. With that said, this team needs to improve on a lot.

You're not missing much. DU is taking it to UND right now.

They are trying to give the SEC excuse of "our conference is just so tough, every win is a quality win and every loss is a quality loss"

Real simply recipe for success for UND, stay out of the damn penalty box. The PK is atrocious.

Terrible officiating but went both ways. UND could have been called for PI at the end. The only thing I can think of is if the receiver initiated the contact with Harris and then tripped. The defender is able to hold his ground. That's the only thing I can think on that. However the PI on Wanzek was bogus, and the NAU corners were being physical all day with our receivers.

How about that Pitt/Clemson game. Almost as good of a finish as UND's today.

Remember when Montana fans were criticizing UND for it's soft schedule? Well Montana now has four conference losses, to Cal Poly, NAU, EWU, and now Northern Colorado. 3 of those teams UND beat.

Or three weeks can get players healthy and closer to 100%.

Remember, even if SDSU loses to UNI, it'll be a quality loss. And if SDSU wins it'll be considered a quality win.

The offense struggled for much of this game but I can't help but think of how this offense might be if they had that deep threat like Georges. Mercer has really come on late this season but he's still not a major speed threat to stretch defenses. Wanzek and Toivenen are outstanding possession receivers but again, they aren't going to really push teams to stop crowding the line. Give that deep threat, make teams second guess dropping the safety down into the box, and open up that potential of a run lane, or bring the safety down and risk Georges going over the top in man coverage.

It is but as of this week we were still out of the top 8. The playoff committee and the rankings have consistently not given UND much credit so far. Do I think UND should be seeded? You bet. Do I think it'll happen when the final rankings are put out? I really don't know.

Hopefully Stockwell's injury isn't too severe and he'll be ready to go if necessary in 2 weeks, but hopefully 3 weeks.

UND is a lock for the playoffs, not sure if they'll have enough momentum with the bye week next week to stay in the top 8.

Absolutely amazing comeback. And looking back on this season, just think what could have been had we caught the 2pt conversion against Bowling Green and not had the punt blocked against Stony Brook.

Tale of two halves for both the defense and Studsrud. We don't win this game without Studsrud in that final quarter and a half. The defense also got stop after stop. NAU got conservative in the second half but still have to give the D full credit, plus they scored the game winning touchdown!

How did we not get a defensive PI on that? I'm pretty shocked but holy crap I'll take it!

Interesting call by NAU when UND has only been bringing a 3 man rush.

Roll double coverage on NAU #8 the rest of the way on anything deep.

I'd like to think that was a plan but I really, really don't know haha. The previous time they threw that route Harris was a good 5 yards away and came up to make the tackle. This time he just jumped it.
