Wolanin looks more interested in playing offense and I'm not really all that impressed by anything I'm seeing out of Shaw. I actually like the play of Peski and Johnson right now.

Well, when one of your defensemen (Wolanin) gets his pocket picked 10 feet from the net, maybe it's better for Tomek to get switched out.

Talent is down compared to recent years but there is still some high end talent and what should be decent supporting players, but there's a lack of desire. You don't see the hunger that other teams have had.

Sloppy passing (for the most part), getting beat along the boards, can't clear out in front of the net. This is bad hockey.

Drake's goal was an effort goal that has been sadly lacking this year, one that starts all the way on the defensive end and pays out with a great finish.

Saving grace, this team appears to play better on the road, so just get to the tournament and see what happens.
