Incredibly stupid play by the Idaho guy on the kickoff. There's a reason you don't lead with your head in a tackle, you risk so much more than you'd ever gain.
I can't tell if this quarterback is getting insanely lucky or he's just that good.... The jump ball that the safeties completely blow coverage. The touchdown throw that is inches from two different defenders' hands.
Here's how you beat our defense, run zone or suck our outside linebackers in and just run right around them. Also, if you can throw a quick out you can beat our corners all day. On that TD, 15 got completely taken out by the TE they put in motion.
Alright that no call is a clear message from these officials. If I were playing, at this point I'd take a run at every gopher player. If we're going to get penalties, let's make them count.
Yeah, gotta disagree on pretty much all those scenarios. Sure there might be a couple here or there on some of those but likely the large majority will agree that every single position you listed the correct person is starting.
And it's the opinion of many here that Tanner has been fantastic this season. I definitely don't feel that he's been handed his position because he's a senior, but because he's put in the time to make himself a good player. I doubt anyone on that defense feels he didn't deserve the starting spot this season.
This is also a strong indicator for the offensive line. Some runs JJ and Brady are making some things for themselves, but a good number of these they aren't getting touched until 4 or 5 yards downfield. JJ's 90 yard run was just a total domination by the offensive line on the d-line and backers. Despite the injuries there, they have been playing incredibly well.
