And now UND gives up a big play up the gut, no linebackers to be seen. Ugh, that was awful.
-
The key is getting a hat on the middle linebacker. They sealed him on that td run and Brady had a wide open road.
-
I don't think Sac can drive a long field. Need to keep them to longer drives.
-
Wanzek held up on his route but looked more like he was sitting down in a zone. Kett shied away from contact.
-
The replay going into commercial break showed a gratuitous hold on the kickoff haha
-
Let's just kick the kickoff out of bounds from now on.
-
Sac st selling out on stopping the run right now.
-
Can't help but feel a reverse or naked bootleg would kill Sac st at some point.

Haha Buddy Schweigert

NORTH DAKOTA VS purple cows GAMEDAY THREAD(SATURDAY)

Hakstol didn't win the championship but his teams came to play. They were professional, they played hard, and they are held accountable to effort. So far, this team is showing none of that. -

Stupid penalty, correctly called. -
Tank is and should be the starter, he's special at the NG spot, but having Greer right there to spell him is just a blessing for this defense.
-
The secondary is in a good place right now. Holm has been the best player for UND so far this year, hands down. Blubaugh looks much improved which is to be expected. He was thrown to the fire last year, he had potential but you could very much tell he was a freshman. It gives me confidence in the D-backs coach to be able to get these young players to improve. It also gives me a bit more confidence in the strength training staff right now. I also like the improved strength of the offensive line. Last year they got pushed around, this year we're getting quite a bit more push. I don't think I've seen a QB sneak fail yet this year and that speaks volumes to the initial push of the center and guards. Another bright point for me has been the play of Noah Larson, he has been fantastic and it's easy to see why the coaches were so high on him even last year. Of course Mason Bennett is an absolute terror to opposing QB's, and I have so much respect for what Steve Greer is doing this year. He has been a beast in the middle of that defense.

Post Christmas runs were a Hakstol thing, not a Berry. Berry hasn't really shown the second half surge capability like his predecessor.
-
If having a 4th string running back is an issue, Gordon can still be given a couple practice reps so he can maybe come in during garbage time like today.
-
Yes. Stupid as it is, those things matter. End of the year, committee member looks back at the score and would give more weight to 60-14 than 41-14
-
This is why I hate Rudy's philosophy in the second half with the lead. Don't get conservative, put up 60 on a team like Montana.
-
Montana's trying to find anything to feel halfway good about.
-
Eh, at this point it's a glorified handoff machine. Doubt Rudy will put the ball in the air at all the rest of the game.
-
Pfft, nose of the ball was on the 15 yard line, should have been a first.
-
Fluke play breaks the shutout.
-
That hit on Wanzek on that sideline catch should have been targeting. He got a helmet in the back of the head.
