I'd say you keep your "guesswork" off of a public message board, especially naming names when you have no idea on the kid's commitment & attitudes towards the program. If kids officially leave, then the names will come out, until then keep the speculation off of here please...

Yes, plenty of reason for concern... A healthy Reyes & Arnell is a nice tandem, but there is/was a large dropoff in talent & play on the field when they both were out with injuries. D just wasn't the same without Reyes. Palmborg showed some promise & would be nice to land a transfer or have a freshman step up. Canady looks impressive & has nice size. Still need to build up the depth at both S & CB positions.

Exactly... We have faired pretty well against both SDSU & USD on the recruiting trail this year anyways. (Holm, Helgren, Cloyd)

I have no problem w/ Heidelbaugh being the #2 for '16 & '17 or even the starter-in-waiting for '18 if the staff thinks he is ready. But, as Sicatoka pointed out above, the problem most people have is the injury situation & depth in '17 & beyond... In 2014, we had to pull Studsrud's shirt & throw him into the fire as a 3rd-string true FR, didn't go so well & sure would've been nice to get that extra year out of him in '18. This year, a QB injury cost us minimum 1 game, likely 2 & kept UND out of a playoff spot. With this offense & the QB carrying the ball/taking extra hits, quality depth is so important at the #2 and #3, which scares me in '17... Going forward, UND looks to be a conference championship & playoff contender,& I don't want to see QB injuries/lack of depth derail those plans. I also remember the Muss years where we were forced to rotate 2 struggling redshirt FR for an entire season because the staff failed to recruit a QB each year & had many guys that didn't pan out ahead of them... I know Bubba & staff won't be going down this road, but still is fresh in the fan's minds.

I could see him in a role similar to Adler this year... Some plays at FB in backfield & also lining up at TE. Remember ,Adler was 2nd team All-Conf at Fullback, even though he didn't play there exclusively. How's Norberg's hands?

I walked out of the Scheels Arena midway through the 3rd qtr of last years' debacle (should've left even before). Said I'm not making the effort or spending the money to watch a Jones-led team again. This post & occasionally scanning the Fire Jones thread is as much attention as I'll pay the basketball team this year.

Who are some of our top QB targets this year? Haven't heard much about that position. With Studsrud going into Jr year & only 2 QB's on roster for 2017, obviously we need a top-end QB recruit, & some depth as well with a PWO or low-scholly QB.
