Was it ever confirmed the Juco Austin Smith made it on campus? EDIT: Austin Smith doesn't show up on SFI's list, so its possible that he never made it to UND...

Based on a tweet, looks like Grady Higgins will be going to Boston College.

Just speculation on my part, but I'm thinking we might be done recruiting at the RB & O-Line positions. Have 4 HS lineman coming in (if Grady stays on the offensive side) & 2 Jucos also coming. With Oliviera & Santiago coming in as HS recruits & the UAB transfer Arrington we could possible by close to done at RB too. Although, I would like to see another FBS or Juco transfer here to spread some depth between the classes. CB & S definitely need some depth & multiple HS recruits this year. ILB needs some too, as all the HS recruits are projected at OLB. Also, anyone know if Norberg will be staying at RB or switching back to LB?

I worked with a few MSUM alums a couple years back that were firmly entrenched on the Bisen bandwagon. There were 1 or 2 that tried to give me crap about the status of UND football during that time. I was always quick to remind them that they were still alums of something called Minnesota State University Moorhead & basically had no affiliation whatsoever w/ ndsu, other than buying yellow t-shirts & attending a Bisen game or 2 a year. Usually shut them up pretty quick.

Bubba's philosophy has been to take kids that may be average speed at Safety & move them to LB, where they will have above average speed even if they are a bit undersized... such as Disterhaupt, Butler, etc. I know Bubba has said he wants faster guys that can attack at all defensive positions, regardless of ideal size for that position.

Probably time to lock this bitch up... I cringed the first day I saw it posted, knowing it was destined to turn into the usual pi$$ing match within 5 minutes. Sucks to come here looking for legit UND football news/thoughts/discussion & be inundated with the same sh*t day after day from the mighty bisens fans.

You do realize that you're a ndsu fan coming on a UND fan site & telling UND fans to support & focus on their own team, right??? Ironic isn't it.... Here's a little rule of thumb that I absolutely follow: As a UND alumni/fan, obviously I have a strong dislike of anything ndsu. Also, I don't care at all what the ndsu fans say or do. Therefore, I stay the hell away from bisenville. Perhaps, you should try the same....

I believe jucos intending to transfer for spring semester can sign Wed. Dec. 15th & into mid-Jan. Jucos coming for fall semester have to wait for NLI day (Feb. 4th)

He left UND to play baseball at Kishwaukee (a juco in IL... Chris Coste from Fargo later played there 1 season) then transferred to Stanford for 1 year & was drafted by the Rangers in the 1992 draft.
