I'm considering it... Would like to see some more official info before I can fully commit to it. Is there a link or anything other available info? What is being proposed? New jersey, pants & helmet? In what colors?? Hopefully Mannausau can send out info to all Champions Club members, football season ticket holders, football alumni, etc to get more interest.

In the limited amount of time, this staff really has made some noise in recruiting. I love the fact that once these kids get on campus for their visits, they are committing. Out of all the known visits the past 2 weeks, most of the kids have committed during or right after.

I'm hearing it's now only a PWO to the Ag School while UND is offering a full-ride to Ezra, as well as full-ride scholarships to his yet-to-be-born children. They did cap it at 5 kids though.

Along with his talent, I would guess that some of the hype for Carter is the position he plays... CB is a dire need for us. After graduation & transfers, I don't even know who we could trot out on the field at CB right now?? Chris Brown is the only CB remaining that I see on the roster, unless Ivery plays CB & the new Juco does. We need a lot of help at this position. As for Carter, kid has great film, is a heck of a talent & looks the part. Saw him at the bball game, while many HS recruits & incoming freshman look like exactly what they are - HS kids, he looks like a college football player already. He's a solid 190 lbs when we've had CBs playing at an overmatched 165 lbs the past few years. I'm no college football coach but it seems most on here & the SFI blog are impressed w/ his film. I have the utmost trust in Bubba & Schmidt to evaluate defensive players. If he signs, he could definitely come in & compete for a starting spot.

We have Deion Harris & Josiah Montague committed so far. Harris is a S & I believe Montague is a CB. Would love to see Carter commit & I agree that he could start from day 1. I'm guessing if we do have some transfers coming in, it won't be until after spring semester. Would've been tough to get some transfers in here for spring semester w/ the late start of the coaching staff.

Just looked at Fleming's twitter... Said Schmidt was gonna call him this morning & let him know if UND can offer or not. With Dranka recently committing not sure if that offer came or will come. Just my observation from looking at his twitter. Also, we do have 2 DE commits now w/ Greeley & Dranka, as well as Dylan Harmston & possibly Hudson Walton at OLB.

Chris Carter definitely looks the part, saw him at the bball game. Kid is a dude on film as well. Hope to see him sign & pencil him in as a starting CB the next 4 years. Also, nice to see Ezra Szczyrbak wearing a Sioux hat at the game.

I love that kid's attitude already. He seems to be a Dustin Iverson-type leader in this class already. That attitude is contagious.

I'm seeing today that Jeff Jones has cancelled his visits to Florida & Michigan. Very likely that he is staying committed to Gophers. Hope this news helps get Josh Parks to UND.

I remember hearing that as well... So I went back & looked & Muss said during last year's Signing Day chat there would be new white jerseys for '13 & hopefully new green jerseys for '14. This is his quote from the last year...

Someone had commented on the SFI blog last week that Kellum was on a visit here last weekend. Though I never saw confirmation of that....

In un-related news to hockey, the latest Philip Nelson rumor is that Texas Tech is interested in him. I guess Tech has a young QB transferring out. No, Nelson will not be attending UND, NDSU or playing college or any level of hockey.

Looks like Taubenheim is doing his best to get Trey Pipkins from Apple Valley to commit as well.... Love seeing more Twin Cities commits. In 2013 & 2012 we only had 1 in each class, this year we already have 4.
