  1. Lets put this in perspective, Olson and St.Clair being out hurts, but its not like we lost MacMillan and Caggiula. Stecher is obviously the key loss this weekend, but this isn't a new surprise, and fortunately our team is deep enought that they should still be able to compete at a high level. That being said, I think Duluth will be the toughest series UND has played all season, and the implication are certainly high. Go get em!
  2. It will be a good weekend to see who is going to step up in the 2nd half. I think we need to see Luke put some points up. Top line will really need to capitalize too.
  3. I think they have done this in the past, to put all the support behind one candidate.
  4. haha, can he throw and kick?
  5. Any idea where they would use this kid? He looks like he could be plugged in at a number of spots.
  6. Any speculation on who is might be with the Gophers? Only options I could see at RB from there would be Kirsch or Parks.
  7. Too bad they have made so many changes and rules. Sounds like a blast.
  8. Prpich/Peluso was a great fight. If I remember right that was the first game I saw at UND.
  9. Their foam party got pretty nuts one year. Can't imagine what a mess it was to clean up the next day.
  10. Yikes, I wrestled at 112 in high school and I was putting up close to that. Get the kid a program!
  11. Agreed, they do have a deman problem, and fixing that starts with winning; which hopefully Bubba can do in the next couple years. I remember when I started at UND in 2003 and the place was pretty packed; sad to see how far that program has dropped. It would be a huge benefit to bring the games back on campus though, right where memorial stadium is now. Tailgaiting and attendance would definitely spike with the students.
  12. Having a stadium like that on campus would be amazing though, I'll be happy to make my donation once that lotto ticket hits.
  13. I agree, it would make sense to build a team before another jump. Only advantage, might be to making the jump prior to NDSU for a regional recruiting advantage. They jumped to FCS before us, picked up good recruits, and established a team at that level. Not sure it is logical, but maybe they see the jump as a recruiting edge?
  14. Any names or potentials for another JUCO or FBS transfer at RB?
  15. Agreed, the second half gets MUCH tougher, but they could still have a nice run in there. Nice to see a Sioux team that started the season strong vs struggling and needing the phenomenal run to make the tourney.
  16. Which is so absurd. If he keeps doing what he is doing, I hope to see him around for another 10-20 years. I think he is a great coach, only thing missing is a National Title, and it will come.
  17. I don't know much about this kid, but based on what I have read this sounds like it would be a good pick up if we can land him.
  18. Its fun to see the Sioux with a #1 next to their name, but this really is meaningless at this point. They should be able to hold the spot through next week with Lake Superior State coming up. After this hot of a start, I am really hoping they can pull off the patented second half run, but the schedule will get much tougher after this weekend.
  19. Not sure how alot of the Juco Transfer process works, or who they have a shot at getting, but the running back from Eden Prairie last year went to Iowa Western and that kid has some size. (Anthony Anderson). Again, not sure if that is a kid that has a shot at FCS or FBS, but I remember watching him tear it up for EP.
  20. Goofers have done that for a long time. I think our fans copied the "Thank You" at the 1 minute mark of each period too; but really, who cares?
  21. Miami vs UND, in football, would be hilarious. I would love to see us get to a level where we are competitive annually; but we have a LONG ways to go.
  22. Well I would have to say 2011. I was actually a huge Gopher fan until I went up to school in Grand Forks in the fall of '03. Grew up with season tickets at Mariucci, then saw the light when I went to college! I'll cheer for the Goofs in football, basketball, wrestling, etc. (As long as we aren't playing them). But I could not dislike that hockey team more.
  23. Ha true, but that was such a fun season, what a great and deep team. Still I think we can do some serious damage this year. Hopefully Mac will be able to bounce back from his wrist injury by January.
  24. Awesome, can we make that happen. Brad should know that we our all pivoting on his information to distract us from our work week.
  25. The loss to Michigan will forever sting. That was our year!
