  1. $500 myn? That should be a sort of nice place then.
  2. Since there was some petty bickering going on, I'm just going to go ahead and bump this to re-start the awesomeness that is #BooBerry
  3. If anyone is curious about how this compares to when Hak signed his contract with the Flyers.
  4. Newly released video of Lucia after signing his contract extension.
  5. Nobody is saying anything on their forum. Deadly silent. http://www.bigskyfans.com/hornets/ Also, if you want to get to any Big Sky message boards, just go to http://www.bigskyfans.com/
  6. Agreed, if we are as good as many of us think we should be, we should not be playing a close game against Sac St. We should be handling this team to the point that they can't catch up. This is a team that lost to Western Oregon.
  7. Wentz has such a bright future, and it is impossible not to like the kid. He would have more passing yards and TDs if not for some horrible dropped balls too.
  8. He needs to keep finding Wanzek and his velcro hands.
  9. I've asked this before, and I'm not sure I ever received a real answer, but what is the opposition to joining the summit? I for one, do like the Big Sky ... for the most part. About half the teams intrigue me, there are a few that don't, but overall I'm not don't know what the big difference is between Big Sky and Summit .... particularly for basketball. Again, to be clear, I do like the Big Sky conference and am not calling for a conference change, but am inquiring about it. Big Sky and Summit both get an entry into the NCAA tourney. Summit would allow for less travel expenses. Big Sky would keep you with the one overall conference affiliation. Is it the opinion of most or some, that Summit Basketball isn't as talented as Big Sky? I'm not a great basketball mind, so I have no clue, but it seems that the Summit has done better than the Big Sky in terms of NCAA performances, at least recently. Obviously, invitations and discussions need to be had before a conference move were to take place, just curious what the opposition is to the Summit. Personally I think you try to stick in the Big Sky, but eliminate some sports. The athletic department is just stretch too thin. I don't like eliminating sports or opportunities for kids, but that may just be the reality UND has to face.
  10. 38-20 UND to wreck yet another homecoming.
  11. Any new update on Santiago and Rooney? Last I heard, it sounded like Rooney would be good to go, but hadn't heard if Santiago was going to make the trip. Anyone?
  12. nope, but if you want a preview... Boltmann is back out of the shotgun. 20 seconds on the clock. He throws deep to Mckinney. Touchdown, Touchdown, Touchdown. North Dakota Wins! The defending FCS Nat'l Champs take down the Wildcats! You heard it hear first, and when I'm wrong, you'll all have forgotten this post anyway.
  13. I would like to see some updated mini helmets. I'd consider getting one for me desk at work. In addition to the football ones, they should design a mini goalie helmet. Again I would consider getting one for my desk at work, or for my mini bar at home.
  14. You want NFL caliber player, you need NFL type approaches. Get on the juice and Roid up!!
  15. Just made my day!! hahaha Now that you have introduced this, you do realize this picture will surface whenever Berry does something questionable going forward, or whenever the team has some down times?
  16. There goes the slack in his leash. Its time to fire up the Fire Berry thread and start up the Bring Back Hak or Bring Back Dean thread. It is completely unacceptable for the coach of this storied program to be wearing that apparel. What was he thinking?!?! Congrats you brought a Championship to GF, doesn't mean much if you can't respect the history of this program. Sioux Logo > Championships. I hope he gets a slap on the wrist, or a stick to the shin, from fans, players and alumni. Boo Berry! AND before you respond, please sense the sarcasm!!!
  17. Definitely, didn't mean that he needed to mirror Santiago. Just that his speed will be a huge asset on the field, and I hope he can be physical enough to utilize it. Bottom line get the kid the ball and give him some space to use the speed. Hope he works out well.
  18. I will be very interested to see what Mckinney can do when he gets here. He absolutely has the speed that could be very fun to watch, but does he have the physicality? We'll have to see how he adjusts to the D1 level, but I hope we can see similar things to what we have see from Santiago, let the kid run and find holes, but also hit him with some passes.... basically just find the kid a little space to make some plays. One thing that I don't think we will know until he is here and playing is his natural instincts as a runner. It is something that we have seen with Santiago. He has this natural instinct to make the smallest moves to make guys miss. His stutter step against Wyoming last year comes to mind. He just has good football smarts. Hope Mckinney can provide something similar.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7uboE_zdyM#t=522 Small bit on UND at Sac St at 8:41. Not sure where they got that logo from. Apparently we're the BlackHawks now.
  20. Boom, and just like that we're gonna make a run in the tourney! j/k ... so still no extra games on the schedule?
  21. so it was almost as exciting as the Big Sky announcement the other week then?
  22. Let's see if UND can keep winning and get some help to take over that top spot. I will eat crow on this one and say I did not expect E. Wash to be quite this good this year. I figured they would be in the mix, as they usually are, but thought their defense would give up some games. I suppose that is still somewhat true, since their defense has given up a ton of points, but their offense has been on fire. I actually though they may start 0-3 given their schedule, but they only game they have dropped is to NDSU in OT. Not too shabby.
  23. I have to disagree with you on this one. First, I think Bubba makes a point of letting these kids know that nothing is a gimme. I also think these guys are smart enough to know they have barely lost two games, but also barely won 3. Most importantly, almost all of these players (especially the team leaders) were all around for Idaho St. and Weber St.(as mentioned) last year. So they know exactly what is on the line by not taking all games seriously. I do think a lot of fans think this one is already in the bag, and not totally without good reason ... but I'd like to believe the coaches won't ever let these guys believe they have won a game before it is played. At least I hope they don't.
