I believe this was already discussed. It will be a BooBerry thread. #BooBerry -
Whats needed at the Alerus ..... an FCS Banner!!! Bring it home Bubba!

Glad to see they are trying new things though. I love the curious hawk, during the opponents field goal attempts. I know someone on here suggested it, and then I saw it going when I was at the Cal Poly game. Love it.

Revenge is a dish best served cold: UND vs. ISU

I guess I don't remember too much from the game. Eversports webcast crashed for the second half of the game. -
I expect to see a ton of blitzing this week to get to ISU's QB. ISU's offense is all pass, and I don't think we will have any issue containing the run, but we MUST limit or eliminate the BIG plays. UND's running back committee should gouge the Bengals this week, and if they want to play an all-out run defense, it is very nice to know that Keaton has built some chemistry with his WRs. Toivenen looks good, but I’m am so impressed with Wanzek; The kid just does not drop the ball. Would love to see some more jump balls to him in the back of the endzone (similar to the TD he had against Cal Poly. Any news on Stanley? Hoping Reyes will be back to help shut down the pass attack from ISU, if not Flowers needs to be out there a lot. Definitely would like another marginal victory. I’m going to say the offense continues rolling. 48-20 The Good Guys! Stay health boys! SCORING OFFENSE G TD FG XPT 2XP DXP Saf Points Avg/G 6. North Dakota 7 27 9 24 0 0 1 215 30.7 12. I would like to think they have a bidding strategy in place, or are in the process of reviewing it. UND is still not a lock for the playoffs, but they are certainly on their way.
-
^This. USD is way more deserving of the ranking at this point. I get that UNI has had a tough tough schedule, but if you don't win any games, your strength of schedule doesn't, or shouldn't, do you many favors.
-
Athlon Sports pegs UND at #14 NDSU remains #1. Yes, they have a loss, but their #1 ranking is understandable and still pretty justified. We'll see how they respond this week at Western Illinois. Being the Bison, I could see them winning out, but at the same time, they still have to play Western Illinois, Youngstown, @ UNI (Yeah, they're having a down year, but could still win a big game), @ USD (Also a team capable of winning big games). It It'll be interesting to see what happens with NDSU the rest of the way.
-
I wouldn't UND to help the Griz out by handing them a quality loss.
-
I'm sure the committee has us on the bubble looking in ... from a distance. These win were mostly lucky and really USD is probably more deserving than us.
-
I think a SUU player took a shot at one of our guys when the game was over.
-
Antone else's Web cast working. Mine is showing some Utah program.
-
True, I still think we win this game. Just hope it doesn't come down to the wire, and hope we can avoid additional injuries.
-
Good lord, this is how we dropped games last year. Hopefully it works out ok.
-
Good deal, hope they get a good show, and a big win.
-
Anyone know if there will be many recruits at the game this weekend? Just curious. I would think homecoming would be a good time to have kids visit, as there is so much going on.
-
Totally agree with this. I have to say, I like that are schedule appears to be a little more challenging than it did preseason. Need to play competitive team, if we want to be able to compete in the playoffs.
-
I guess, but when you're up 34-0, 34-7 or even 37-7, you can probably make a few switches and be just as effective. You're probably not going to be pass heavy anyway, so Heidelbaugh could have got in, and got more reps. Plus, there is no need to risk Keaton getting injured at that point.
-
Any idea why the coaches didn't rest players earlier than they did? I didn't think Studs had any business playing that far into the game.
-
Agreed, especially when compared to teams like E. Wash and MT. Yes, they play each other, but other than that, the schedules are fairly similar in terms of difficulty, and I would say some of that is even offset by the fact that our bye week isn't until the end of the season. Being in the position to rest some starters would be VERY beneficial.
-
solid point. definitely not the same kind of drop off as last year. I'd really like to see a statement win tomorrow. I know S. Utah is much better than Sac St, but I'd really like to see a similar dominating kind of performance, which I do think is doable. Maybe I'm just being a homer, but I really think this team is coming together and playing more like the team we saw at the end of last season.
