I voted for him, but, Trump is inaugurated and we play like crap. Obama was president and we won a championship. Sh!t, now I'm questioning everything.

I vilified Johnson more the year before, when he whiffed on every other shot. Last year he was pretty solid. Thompson was kind of a whipping boy. Probably had more to do with not being as good as the elite talent around him. Could definitely use his veteran leadership this year. I miss Stecher.

Some tournament spots are lost though.

Schmaltz is at least getting NHL time and has played well. The other two could be very valuable for us.

Agreed, this should be the focus. Then make the tourney. It's a good year to host in Fargo.

Start Tomek. Maybe it sends a message to Cam. Records are worthless, unless you're playing like a guy who deserves them; right now he is not. Isn't getting defensive help, but playing poor as well.

Denver lost and UND loses another chance to make movement in the standings. It's always possible, but without a sweep this weekend, another Penrose looks doubtful.

Well, apparently the Ralph isn't a tough place to play this year. Granted their are high expectations after such a great season last year, and UMD is a great team, but there have been too many games like tonight. No passing ... just throwing the puck to areas rather than players. No flow to the game. Poor defense. It's tough hockey to watch.

I told my wife after the 1st, this will be a game of too little too late. Score to make it look within reach, but too late. Someone said it a week ago, this is a team that needs to just make the tourney, and then look to win 4, regardless of seed.
