PCM's a valuable asset to this board and I abused his generosity and insight. I never meant to do that, but I did. I think I have become too familiar with many of the posters of this board when I should not have. I talked to someone who has close ties with the Bobcat organization. That person said that the younger one (P.J I think is what he goes by), the defenseman, has great size and plays nearly every game. He's also a freshman or very young as it were. He's definitely the one to watch. As for the other one, he plays forward, and he doesn't play that often according to that person. Not sure what that means, but just thought I'd share. I guess I'd have to watch a game right now to see more, but I don't have their schedule memorized. Hopefully they'll be back in Fargo so I can see them play the Jets. P.S. Anyone remember what NAHL team Siembida is on?

I am not so certain that all the Sioux fans who are holding out for the Gophers to return in force are rooting for that to happen. I for one do not root for the Gophers. I just seem to remember last year when they stunk pretty darn good up until January. Then, almost over night, they clicked and took over. So, it could be a defense mechanism to protect ourselves from disappointment should UND tank and Minny turn on the jets.

I was in Seattle at the time. I couldn't remember if it was Oregon or Washington that got screwed in favor of Virginia Tech. But I remember that year because Miami's only loss came in Washington. It was one of the few times I saw UW fans calling for Oregon

I could swear it's happened in the 90s the two national titles. With Oregon (I think) getting screwed out of a bowl a few years ago in favor of Virginia Tech and USC's snafu this year, the PAC 10 will probably be pining to get out of the BCS. They nearly pulled out until Oregon got a major bowl bid. I wish I knew more about the BCS system. But anything that is too hard to understand isn't worth it.

Diggler and Damstrait- Having taken linguistic courses here at UND, I know that the term 'y'all' is a common word in a dialect of American English. It's different than what we have up here but it is STILL English. A simple, "Beg your pardon" would have sufficed. True, she was icy towards you, but that's probably because she thought you were ignoring her or being stand offish. Being a hostess or a server is a hard job. And no, that by definition is not hospitality at all. It's just a minor language barrier. If someone came up to you and said, "Welcome to this establishment. I'm so pleased to serve you today. I want to make it the best experience you've ever had so your beverages are on the house!" that would be cool. But what if it was spoken in a different language from a person whose culture is trained socially not to smile at strangers? It would change your perspective very much and you'll probably not feel comfortable.

SFiP- How many times must I bail your desert butt out? Most of the NASCAR fans are in the NORTH. Most of the NASCAR DRIVERS are from the South. Hmmm how does that work? Yes would be my guess. I think the prospect of contributing to a team going DIAA was one of the reasons why they came to NDSU. If they transfer, I'll be VERY VERY surprised.
