I'd love it of UND could get another crack at an AHA team in the NCAAs. Nothing like a cupcake to start things out.... unless it's 2003 over again. I'm going to amend this to add CHA to the list of cupcakes, if the CHA representative IS NOT Bemidji State. IMO, BSU is the only decent team in the CHA.

One of the posters on this board gave me a ticket to his suite. I agree wholeheartedly. There is NO BETTER PLACE to watch the game. $295 Prime Rib. I'm up for it if you're buying.

Actually, when I was in the suite, you got two free bags of popcorn... though the word "free" and "REA" don't mix. So I'm sure the suite owners bought them some how.

I'll disagree there. I think it all comes down to defining the word "physical." To some, "ohysical" means gritty, in your face, instigator who plays chippy. Someone like Prpich or Smaby. To others, "physical" means grinding it out, putting yourself in front of the net (taking abuse), and playing the body in the corners or crashing the net. In this mindset, I see Zajac as very much this type. Zajac isn't a pure finesse player like Spirko. He's not a gloves to your mask type player either like Prpich. I think he's right in the middle.

That's ok. If I were a #1 seed, I wouldn't want to face BSU anyways. If Alabama comes to town, you HAVE to like your chances. I mean, it's like the Holy Cross vs UND matchup a few years back or the Mercyhurst vs. Minnesota matchup back in 2002 I think... No #1 leaves the arena after the game is over with less than a 3 goal lead. Could you imagine Minnesota vs UAH? I'd project at least a 6-1 final score with 10 minutes of the third period spent just playing keep away.

Why can't a WCHA team come in as a #2 or #3 seed if UND is a #4 seed? Doesn't it go: #1 vs. #4 #2 vs #3 in the first round?

Ah, but Eaves was "filling in for Bo?" No. Eaves REPLACED Bo. If Eaves was there to fill in for Bo, then Eaves would be back in the AHL. It's too bad that a slow start has basically derailed his first season... only to get it back on track and then have an injury pretty much ensure that, unless someone gets injured, it doesn't matter what Bo does in the AHL. Bo should ask to be traded to a team that isn't as loaded up front. That way he could get to the NHL. I doubt there would be many teams who would look at Bo's limited performance thus far in the NHL and say "Nah, he needs to go back to the AHL." Yeah, I'm saying 90% of the teams out there would keep him in the NHL. Too bad he's on the other 10%.

Yesterday Bo scored a hat trick for the Binghampton Senators. He now has played 30 games for the AHL team and scored 39 points. Here's the link. Question is: How much more time does Bo need? After all, he wasn't doing badly when he got sent down the last time. How much longer will Bo endure the AHL before the Sens recall him?
