I think you're combining too many things to form a false thought. Nobody complained before because nobody knew about it. Now it's coming to light. Next, I have not seen anybody saying football is bad because of the contract. They are asking why the REA would take so much football revenue.

Maybe true. But maybe she is also highlighting those negotiation issues to deflect from the real issue of the contracts. Has she ever addressed those issues, ya know, the one's that are actually the problem? It's like a parent telling their kid: "don't listen to how the coach is saying it, listen to what he is saying". The one who goes public usually does so to get out in front of something (perhaps something deeper). I would guess that Ralph's kids have been raised to be tough and savvy yet she is running to the paper to cry about something she doesn't like at UND. Preemptive deflection, perhaps?

I don't think there is anyway to know who is giving what as the "label" of a Hawk or Sioux fan is in the heart of the beholder. I just know the donations have gone up so both groups must be pulling their weight. Who is heavier? The Sioux fans, I would imagine. Maybe the Half/Halfers? Is that a group? I got a headache.
