i think you're confused as to what people are talking about. If the money from the football revenue was kept by UND it would not go directly to football. Nobody has said this. It would simply help out with the overall AD budget. That is what people are getting at.

Who said it was impossible? Nobody wants a large seam around it, nobody. So that means replacing the all of the entire panels that would encompass the Hawk. That cannot be cheap. Would that go over well in this climate and who would pay for it?

Guessing they would need to replace a large part of the middle section, meaning more seams, which is bad. The giant helmet with logo on the outside of the building kind of makes up for it, for now.

You and several others have never addressed a chief concern that I believe MK is also asking about. How does MK know what the REA is doing with UND's revenue they are taking? This is important because ultimately whatever is left over is given back to UND.

Well yah it never left campus. But what expenses are they covering with UND revenue? Nobody knows. It could change every month if they wanted so.
