  1. Luckily he only has to play one year and then is on his own. Nothing to lose and very little work for Richie.
  2. Meaning his lawyer got him off, basically, with a slap on the wrist? Guessing a combo of that and he couldn't afford how astronomical the bills were gonna be?
  3. You're absolutely right, anybody can complain.
  4. No, they don't. If they do win then UND would need to get Baseball back cause the numbers would be completely f-ked and another lawsuit would be coming.
  5. It would shock the hell out of me if it did. It's about money and Title IX. Both are constants. Both work together in an athletic department.
  6. That would be the slam dunk mother of all lawsuits. I think I could lead that one.
  7. Think their lawyer is confused. Keeps mentioning UND but he is suing the NDUS. I hope the NDUS drags it out and runs up the bill on them. Be interesting to hear who is footing the lawyer fees if they lose. Hmmm.
  8. What are they seeking? If it's a money grab what can they say they lost out on...tuition?
  9. he had already told the staff well before that. When is graduation?
  10. You keep generalizing, Mensa. I and a few others will keep telling the facts of the matter.
  11. Don't think you understand.
  12. Sorry, Dad. If you would look into the back story of it you would realize why people see it as a farce. He wouldn't even be in this position if not for the entire coaching staff holding his hand for 4 years.
  13. We are used to it. But in this case he is going out of his way to try to be a big-time grad transfer when it really doesn't apply, in my opinion. 19 credits... really? Joke.
  14. I would love to know how many grad transfers actually stay 1.5-2 years and get the masters degree (considering they only play one year). NCAA have a study on that?
  15. Picking a losing battle, my friend. Move on.
  16. Did Brad Berry/Hak have to hold their hand for 3-4 years? UND will be just fine without him in the program.
  17. Worst. Analogy. Ever.
  18. It'll be addition by subtraction with him. Said before and I stand by that.
  19. Without a doubt. BK has the worst fries in all of fast food.

    2018 Season

I don't know why we had an Australian basketball coach scheduling our football games.
  21. Article in the Herald. It's official. Sad part is Geno had poor grades out of high school and UND worked with him to get into school and had to stay on him while there. That staff put in a lot of work to help Geno. Then he leaves early. Jones quote says alot, IMO: “I would have enjoyed seeing Geno finish out his eligibility as a Fighting Hawk and continue to grow with him as a young man, player and teammate, but players choosing to pursue graduate transfer options is the reality of today’s college basketball,” UND coach Brian Jones said. “The only thing we can control is investing in our athletes while they are within our program and I know we’ve done that on many levels with Geno. We wish him nothing but the best in this new journey.”
  22. It's June and he needs to graduate still. So no, there isn't any good news.
