Sad news. Loved watching her play. Just an absolute tenacious dawg on the floor. I know my cousins kids knew her and had her as a coach and absolutley loved her.

Spent a little time at the Cask & Flagon during the Frozen Four a few years ago. Pretty close to BU campus. Bleacher Bar(located in Fenway under the CF bleachers. is right near there as well. If you have a late night and are hungry, the South Street Diner is excellent but no idea where it is in relation to BU but we did eat there 2-3 times....usually around 2 am.

Love these. Maybe we could use helmet stickers....instead of Buckeye stickers we hand out Mike stickers to players who have big games or game changing plays.

Not pile on but what the hell.
End of half, 1st and ten at own 36 with 11 seconds and two timeouts left. Indiana State in soft prevent.
Time for 2, maybe 3 plays and admittingly low expectation of getting points.
1st down and we run an 8 yard out to the sideline. 2nd down a pass over the middle for 30 yards and the clock runs out.....with two timeouts left I question the first down play as the whole middle of the field was wide open.

I would question why on 3rd and 7 we have to throw the ball 3 yards to a receiver or back and have them pick up the rest of the yards for a first down. Are those just terrible play calls or necessary? I would have hoped we could have a receiver run a 10 yard out pattern and then come back to the sticks as our QB rifles a ball to him.

If Tommy gets injured they need Feeney to be able to run the offense so they don't want to expose him by having him primarily run the ball which is really all they have done with Romfo in the game.

Mye guess is that instead of using the NHL and Ottawa Senators endorsed site Bet99 that Pinto may have instead used the betting services of Joey Baggadonuts

He isn't holding out. Ottawa has $46000 under the cap. They can't even offer him the league minimum contract until they make some trades to clear cap space which now is not in their interest to trade a guy or two who are playing every night to make room to sign a guy they won't have for 41 games.

So if he didn't bet on Hockey and gambling is allowed in Casino's and through gambling sites....my guess is being a New York kid he gambled through a bookie which could open him up to possible undue influence if he had debts?

And to make it worse. the suspension doesn't start until he is under contract and it he isn't under contract by 12/1 he can't play this season.
Ottawa does not have room to sign him unless they trade a couple guys to creat cap space but probably are not going to do that for a guy who won't be able to play for 40 games.

Interesting schedule this year in the MVFC with who plays and who does not play.
Looking at rest of season
SDSU--assume they will go 11-0
USD--6-1 now, probably have 1 W and 1 L on their schedule so 7-2 with tossups with game at SIU and UND at home
UNI--4-3 now. have 1 W on schedule so 5-3 with 3 tossups games left, at Illinois State, at Missouri State and NDSU at home
YSU--4-3 now. 3 W's on schedule and 1 L...so 7-4
UND--4-3 now. 2 W's on schedule so 6-3 with games at USD and Illinois State at home
NDSU 5-2 now. 1 W and 1L on schedule so 6-3 with home game against SIU and road game at UNI
SIU--5-2 now. 2 W's on schedule. So 7-2 USD at home and at NDSU
Illinois State--4-3 now 1 W on schdule so 5-3 with home game with UNI, road game at Missouri State and finish at UND
Missouri State--3-4 with 2 L's on schedule so 3-6 but could spoil Illinois State's and UNI's seasons as they have them both at home.
SDSU with 11 wins and I count 3 teams that should easily get to 7 wins plus NDSU and UND should be able to get there as well. That is potentially 6 teams making their case and IF SIU beats USD and they beat us, that is two teams at 8.......we might be in the playoffs(1 and done) right now.

When one team has the puck almost the entire second period penalties on the team trying to get it are likely to happen.
