That being said, the overall stat line is still a QB rating of over 100. Plenty of other games have been won with worse stats. Singling that out and saying it was the reason UND lost that game is just another level to the bit.I didnn't say that is why we lost the game, just pointed out that those are Christian Ponder numbers. When you complete 3 passes in a row on a drive and have 4th and 1 you aren't doing it right.

These "ideas" seem like no brainers to me.. entry level marketing type stuff (Ive heard we have a good business school). When I hear someone say that it was supposed to work, but it didnt, it really seems like an entry level effort.. not a Division 1 athletics effort. This is one of the areas I tend to agree a bit with UND-FB-FAN.. its an attention to detail thing.. its an image thing.. its an effort thing. If they can figure it out at concordia or the other school close by we should be able to figure it out in Grand Forks.

To be fair. I can almost guarantee he was told to go in and fair catch the punt. Skokna was not dressed today and I don't know who would have been third option.

From what i heard from guys who knew Ford, if we had not been dealing with the COVID crap he would have likely worn a letter from the start...but that was a weird year with limited time for guys to skate together in the summer and get to know each other.

Oshie never hit Wehrs in Wehr"s Corner. Frattin one year and Malone the next.
Oshie did dumptruck him at Mariucci though. Oshie was coming out of own end and someone threw a bad pass to him which he reached back to control and Wehrs had him lined up and Osh never even saw Wehrs coming.....and didn't even know he was there. Oshie just rolled right over him and took a peak back like he maybe drove over a squirrel as he continued up the ice with the puck and Wehrs made his way to the bench.
