@petey23 avatar can confirm.
They may have SCMODS but they'll never catch me ...
It's either glorious or embarrassing, but I could probably write down the entire dialog from that film.
Now I'm going back to listening to music. What key? A, good country key ... -

With the initials CS?
Nope
Had two other guesses but the media guide listed them both as 3 time letterwinners(PS and TR) but I know those might not be accurate because I was pretty sure one of them for sure would have been a 4 year player as well.

If you look at the media guide, look in the records for the top 10 for several categories. If you look closely, you won't find my name in any of them. Had UND gone to D-1AA back then, my name would have probably been on a roster for AVTI.
Educated guess says you may be from a City in Southeastern North Dakota?

I didn't say how old I was, maybe it was 6 in a row, we might have lost to them in a tournament... I know we never lost to them at home and I want to say we beat them all four times in Fargo.
EDIT: Well hell we lost to them twice, once in a tournament and once in Fargo. I now remember the loss in Fargo, we sucked the whole game. I had to look at the schedule... the tournament loss was us going 0-3 for the tournament. I want to say we had guys sick. They say the mind is the second thing to go.
I am an Internet Detective.
1970-1988--Dave Gunther coached at UND
1985-90--Gino Gasparini was Athletic Director
You mentioned the 80's.
Just narrowing it down a bit....haha

You're correct I must have taken too many elbows to the head while you were in the stands being entertained and screaming out my name like a high school girl on prom night. But,we were 9-0 against NDSU so it was worth it.
I found a couple instances where we beat The Terd 7 times in a row(77-79) and 6 times in a row(85-87). What years did you play?
I started school in the Fall of 84 and went to most home basketball games and lived in Smith Hall my freshmen year so got to know quite a few guys on the team.
Loved the Hyslop and I was kind of a basketball junkie back then, probably played pick up ball 3 times a week my first couple years on average as well as raquetball and made good use of the pool and sauna.
I rememeber when I was at UND the joke was that Dave Gunther could walk through Gamble Hall on Thursday afternoon and grab 7-8 guys and still beat Erv that weekend.

Yup. Most Vegas lines start at Sagarin and then move with the money as it comes in.
And before anyone says it,
I study odds-making as a hobby and only gamble on PowerBall and bingo nights at Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration*. <- That's for you @petey23*I think that's the right name.
I have no idea what to make of this game point spread wise and will most likely not be including it in my Saturday morning "work product"

I hadn't heard this before:
Schloss picks UND to finish 2nd behind DU.
He also picks Blake as the top forward, Perron as the top recruit, and Berg as the top transfer.
Berg was oddly absent from the scoresheet in UND's 10-0 exhibition win. That is surprising because he was very noticeable.

Fire - 1977, stabbing - 1980
I remember hearing about the fire and people still called it Stabba Nu when I was at UND in the Mid/late 80's

Why he was dismissed from the team.
Good way to end your hockey career, idiot.
Good way to end your hockey career and significantly reduce other job opportunities as well.

It ends tomorrow.
Which is more unlikely.
A team losing 18 straight playoff games or a guy getting a hit in 56 consecutive games.

Stayed up to watch the last group finish thjeir first hole this morning.
As someone in the apparel business the first thing I noticed in the very first match was Sam Burns was wearing the wrong hat...bad juju from the start.

61.5%
And 63.3% of student-athletes opportunities (unduplicated)I have heard that if the Athletic Department offices see 5-6 women from the Club Hockey team walking towards the building they lock the doors, turn off the lights and hide behind their desks.

Two plays Saturday could've changed sideline demeanor (and attitude matters):
- make the first EP (7-7 is better than 7-6)
- make the INT and easy TD (would've "tied" game at 14)hang onto the ball for the 1st interception oportunity and we keep them off the board on the first touchdown.
Hang on to the easy pick 6 and we lead either 12,13, or 14 to 7.

No, they still do that, but somehow it is different if they have older players.

I often think about The Roman Empire and where our program would be if we had hired this guy when we had the chance.

Worst game of CJ's career?
Unfortunately yes. He was been so solid his whole career. Probably not used to having the ball thrown his way since most FCS and MVFC don't even try and throw the ball his way,

It's a two possession game.
Should have kicked XP.
Now if we score again and don't get two it is still a 2 possession game.....and now we have to go for two.

Have had chances to make plays. Dropped pick at goal line keeps them from getting their first TD. Dropped pick 6 is a game changer. Missed XP. Plenty of time left with the ball and pounding the ball and we get cute.
