Just had a buddy bring up a really good point. Why would N. Schmaltz spend two years in the USHL and then go to the CHL when he could've gone there right away? Makes sense to me.

Personally saying, as a Yankee fan, I expect my team to make the playoffs every year, but to expect them to win a title is too much. UND does this. I want them to have a shot every year. Especially in a one-and-done format like college hockey, you have to get there. Once you get there, it's sometimes just a bounce of the puck, like we saw last night. We're in the hunt.
