I've seen him do it, so you saying he doesn't is just flat out wrong. I'm not saying this had to have happened in this situation. I'm saying it's very possible because a nasty hit happened more than once. Wisconsin was going for him. A single player doesn't usually get singled out without having some sort of a backstory.
He's a Rau type. Jaws and tries to get players to do something to him. Not saying I condone Wittchow or Cavallini did, but I can't imagine Novak said nothing to get those types of hits laid on him. I could be wrong.
I just don't think this team has that type of mentality. We talked a bit about it before last week. The team came out with jump and didn't take them lightly. It's pretty naturual to start to coast up 4-0, regardless of opponent. I think they'll get after them.
Sure, it wouldn't help to lose or tie to CC in terms of PWR, but badly is debateable. A loss may drop us a couple spots, but, at this point, there's no reason to really worry about it. Just gotta go get it done.
I honestly thought we didn't play poorly in that game. Early on, Sconnie had more jump, but our effort level was there. Our execution was bad, however.
Yup. I can't even think of more than maybe 2.
I have a tough time believing that UND, or any team in this league, for that matter, ever thinks that 6 points are going to come easy.
One quality of this team that I've noticed throughout this season is the ability to come out hard and play with pace to start every game and even each individual period. While chemistry might not be at the top level right away in each, this team has rarely come out slowly at puck drop. Is this really concern to anyone?
I don't know anything about Hoff other than stats, but it's a joke that Rhett isn't on there. NO chance he's not drafted. He'll be a late rounder, but will absolutely get drafted. Great size, good speed and hands for his size, can win draws and is great in front of the net.
