There's a million ways to enhance game day experience without a mascot. There's turning the page and then there's coloring said page in neon colors, covering it in balloon animals and turning it into a clown show. Why?

Haviland, huh? Seems brash, but hasn't been controversial, IMO. I used to hate Motzko, but he's been giving UND loads of credit over the last handful of years. To me, Blasi is by far the worst. His teams have been pretty talented and have greatly underachieved, but for some reason talks like his boys are better than the rest. Not humble at all. I'm loving coach Monty. Wilkie, for sure. Wilkie started showing pieces of a big time player late last year. Gersich isn't as physically gifted as Wilkie, he's gotta get bigger. He's one of the fastest straight line skater I've seen as a freshman, though. Both are going to need to become big time players for us to repeat.

Only switch I make is to flip Wilkie and JJ, but I absolutely think JJ could fit in that spot, too. Schmaltz was very, very, very close to returning. That was the news at the time.

It's cut down, but it's still awful. He's a hack. Phenomenal player, but a hack, in my eyes. Prime example was last night when he slashed Thorton as Big Joe was skating away from the opening faceoff. Why does he do that nonsense. He's so good and it's so unnecessary.
