University of North Dakota 2018-19 Season
stoneySIOUX replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
I think he was talking about the freshman class that came in that year. I could have read that wrong. They way I took it, the class was a better influx of talent last year than the freshman class that was brought in two years ago. -

Hey guys, look! They like us! They really like us! Idk about y'all, but I consider dumb and juvenile to be high praise

I laughed very hard at this one. It's phenomenal.

I guess I didn't realize capitalizing a word or using "hate" in context of a sports rivalry helps define ones maturity, but since it apparently does, I guess I COULD say the same about YOUR (see what I did there?) capitalization, or lack thereof? BUT I won't. Nothing appeals to me about cheering for a rival. If that reflects my maturity, so be it. Not sure how it does, but I'd love to be further educated. However, if being mature truly means going on an online forum and insulting someone based on how they feel about rivalries or their capitalization practices, I'll stick to immaturity
-
So, because I'm younger than you (not sure if this is true, but it could be!), I am less mature. Only when my maturity (with age) blossoms, I will know the true fancy of sport and be less invested and no longer hate my rivals. This sound right? Just clarifying this. Because I have a 92 year old grandpa who would heartily disagree with this. Hating a rival is a part of what makes sports fun.
