Fogged in in Fargo, what's it like east?

Left today,Fargo for the night then on to Minny in the morn. Marriott.

Everyone's been complaining about lack of fan participation and you complain about what little fan participation there is? The "Thank You" is a tradition throughout college hockey.

Ahhhh....Spring is here.The snow is melting,the geese are heading north,the Sioux are going to the FF, and the gophers are coming out of their holes.

Don't think they're allowed to bring in signs anymore either. They used to check them so they weren't too obnoxious,now I believe they're flat out banned.

At the Mattress Factory in Omaha they had a map of the USA with pushpins on it to show where fans traveled from. It was pretty amazing. Gave you goosebumps.

When we booked at the Marriot through the NCHC they asked our team affiliation. Maybe the NCHC would have some info on UND fan hotel numbers.

I live 280 miles west of Grand Forks,have season tickets. I know a guy from Montana who has season tickets,see him at almost every home game I go to. We both attend Final 5 every year. Took a bus to Omaha from Bismarck with fans from Hazen,Bismarck,Williston,and points in between. Have not attended a regional, although would love to. Reason being- we just get home from St. Paul on Sunday and to turn around and head to Mich.,NH,Wisc.,etc. on Thursday for a regional is not doable for us as we will for sure be going to the Frozen Four if they make it. No doubt having the conference tournament in the cities is a benefit for Sioux attendance,it would be darn good anyway. If there is any way you could find out hotel occupancy numbers by Sioux fans I think it would prove this point.

They picked Scheels Arena over REA because it was the only non-campus site that bid for it. If they hadn't bid Scheels it may have gone to the Ralph. Notre Dame got it because they were the only ones that bid for it in that region. No off campus sites bid.
