    I don't believe we are "required" to pick a new nickname. I'm aware that the powers that be will push it to purge the Sioux name from history. They met the requirement of the NCAA by "officially" retiring the Sioux nickname.

    To make it simple, NCHC team win against a non-conference opponent. The NCHC has a dismal non-conference record which hurts all NCHC teams pairwise.
