  1. I’m just happy DU’s fan liked it on Twitter
  2. That’s the great thing about this board. We push James back to retain Calder and James decided to go elsewhere this board would be on fire. Dammed if you do, damned if you don’t.
  3. You sure have a lot of information, Nick Por... err BusinssSoot
  4. It's this board's default every time there's any sort of bump in the road and it's so played out and tired. Back-to-Back-to-Back Conference Champs in what is definitively the toughest conference in college hockey, Bubs is not going anywhere soon.
  5. The funny thing is the posters on this site wanted Hak fired and used these exact same statistics but in a negative way. We've come full circle.
  6. I think that’s what’s frustrating about this team. They don’t lack talent, they can score, but it’s so inconsistent. Hopefully it’s just a transition period in baptizing the transfers and freshies into the way we play. I can’t remember which coach it was last year but it was the perfect compliment. It went something like “North Dakota plays like they don’t have elite-level talent on their team” or something along those lines. We need to get back to that.
  7. Sounds like the 13-14 team got a little deep into SS.com(probably too deep), reading comments and stuff after games of players getting ripped. Just commenting on all the hot takes about guys on here watching from the stands saying this player should have done this or that & they have no idea what it's like on the ice at the speed the game moves. Gage also commented how much pressure players at UND face because of how passionate our fanbase is.
  8. Start at the 1 hour mark of the Has-Beens podcast to hear what current & former players think of this site, it's pretty damn funny and spot on Includes Keaton Thompson throwing his phone across the room in the 2013-14 season
  9. Quinnipiac won 6-2 today vs Maine proving yesterdays loss may have been an aberration
  10. Friends don’t let friends look at pairwise rankings before January
  11. I get that polls are a good conversation piece but I have a really tough time getting worked up about them. UND could be unranked in the USCHO poll and I could not care less.
  12. He gets a head of steam and he can beat anyone wide
  13. I’m not sure how you attend that game and come away disappointed or dwelling on the negatives when there’s so much to be excited about. A tilt between 2 or the best in the country, wow that was fun. Don’t think the Ralph’s been that loud in October since some of the early season Gopher series in the WCHA.
  14. I’d like to see a Matteo-Mac-Gaber top line next wkd
  15. I have this weekend as a must split
  16. Reminds of Grimaldi, never really found players that could keep up with him. Although sometimes I don't think even he could keep up with himself sometimes. Memories come rushing back in of him on a breakaway and deking the goalie out of his skates only to deke again back into his pads.
  17. Using my gorilla math, UND is 52-15-14 before thanksgiving under Coach Berry for a 64% win percentage.
  18. I only show replicas, am I missing something?
  19. I noticed the same thing about the authentics vs replicas on the white jerseys. One of the reasons I passed on the replicas and am waiting for an authentic white.
  20. I honestly can't decide which Final Five I had more fun at. The Frattin OT win was so incredible but having Gopher fans talking so much !@#$ getting up 3-0 then get realllly quiet once Brock Nelson tied it as the PA was announcing Parks' goal. For all intents and purposes, the game was over at that point. I just remember never feeling momentum and energy in a building shift like that before at any game I'd been to before or since. Also, Lapanta's goal calls are THE BEST
  21. So how do other rinks have more up-to-date songs while we're unironically stuck in the early 00s?
  22. My approach to recruiting used to be more reactionary. What I've learned is we all could learn to take a "we'll see" approach... http://www.drmarlo.com/dr-marlo-speaks/maybe-so-maybe-not-well-see/
