I don't think it is that weird.... comparing the noise / atmosphere of and 18k NHL rink to the Ralph and throwing in a backhanded compiment at the same time. If a UND player commented about playing at crowdless rink and compared it to playing DU everyone would chuckle...

Is anyone else sick of the "come here ref, need to jabber in your ear to rest my players" bs that seems to be more and more common. Maybe I didn't notice it so much before. I cringe at thinking more rules or changing the traditions of the game. Perhaps a clock on time the ref spends at the dasher chatting to the coach.... Off ice starts a timer when the ref gets to to board in front of the net, starting and stopping as the game progresses, accumulate X minutes of "ear time" minor bench penalty for delay of game. Seems like a boring afternoon, lol.

I hope someone makes a gif out of it.... a child laying on his back kicking both skates skyward to ward off a monster comes to mind.... very cringeworthy, Miami and that player showed be ashamed.

Curious who on this team could be sent over the boards as an enforcer, Jackson Kunz comes to mind based on size, but he is in GF. Not that it matters as the refs would shut it down before as soon as any squaring off happened. I recall Mario dropping mitts, I think with the St Cloud Marvin that ran Chay Genoway into the boards. Refs stopped that before them fellas could exhale. Not sure how I stand on fighting in hockey, like the enforcer stops cheap shots concept but the whole enforcers ending up with brain trauma gives me pause.
