Sorry to anyone offended by my reference to "nudie" pics. For clarification I was referring to the Olympic team pics that some players chose to be in. I find it hard to believe that most of you fail to see the connection between persons holding up the WH program as a cornerstone to helping young ladies develop not only their skills but into high quality representatives of the sport and the cheeky nude poses that drag women rights back 50 years.

I believe Shawn-O is stating that Rivard was head coach before lamoos hit campus... I have to wonder why the bleeding was not slowed, obviously most sports bleed money, but seems like it went from no one noticing to chopping block really fast. Could replacing Idalski with a mere mortal, cutting recruiting in Scandanvia, etc have kept the program. Obviously the state's budget issues weighed in heavily, but seems like cuts before cutting the program would have been an option.

Others are more up to speed on the Curl to UND story than me, but if I remember correctly, Idalski told her she can't play at UND unless she left her ND high school program and took up a higher level before UND. If it is accurate that the LaMoo twins required Idalski to be the coach before they would tranfer from Minn to UND, then I ponder if their coming here brought about the demise of the program? Does not take a rocket scientist to see Idalski did in the program with his visions of grandeur. But I slept in a second rate hotel, so maybe I should stick to beer and sausages instead of bread and circuses...

I would not be surprised if they follow this board, it can be a riot of contradiction, but I would not be surprised if the players don't follow the site as much as people close to the players point things out to them. I shake my head more at what is said here than what I see (mostly hear this year) on the ice. Earlier in the year, persons wanted Rhett Gardner sent to the club team (sarcasm), he could be sitting back thinking "how do you like me now", as per Tim we are win less without him in the line up. A recent post lamented that we no longer stand up the puck carrier at the blue line, while 3 games or so ago, Hayden Shaw was getting sent to Siouxsports hell for getting a penalty doing that very thing. Good thing we are in the internet era where "just say anything, no one cares" rules the day....

Is the $60 million to restore the program to its former glory with overpriced coach and international recruiting Footprint? Or is that the number to let some female athletes play the sport ?

I agree 100%, I suspect or wonder actually if the GF combined, WF United, and Fargo North South are a direct response to Bismarck's selfish bullcrap. Perhaps those schools just had a wain in interest because they knew the super team would be thumping them... ' It will always be little guy vs, big guy but this is a crappy deal, of course no one cares because it is girls.
