DU shut out at home tonight... does anyone else notice that the DU announcers mics never go off-line when not on air? Amusing things come out of their mouths at times lol.

They played well against St. Cloud but they didn't play a full 60 minutes in either game. And if you take out the Cloud series there are plenty of examples of this team coasting for large stretches of games.

Typically we've played better hockey on Saturday nights vs. Fridays but who knows. A sweep would be extremely helpful in punching a ticket to the NCAAs. I'm very happy with how they played tonight... good puck control, crisp passing and (shocking) a bit of scoring.

This board is a lot quieter when the Hawks play well lol...

I have certainly been critical of this team but nothing to crab about tonight... crazy what happens when you play hard for 60 minutes.

Alternate reality is just what this team needs compared to what they've done since Christmas break.

What the hell team is this? What year is this? Did someone spike my drink?

Exactly... Much better effort than usual though. This team can play with anyone when firing on all cylinders. Now, stay out of the &$@#(*^! penalty box!!!

Would it be to much to ask for an 8 game winning streak right now?

It used to be that UND players would love situations like this... to go out and out-work the other team and kick their ass. Have you seen the faces on the bench? On the ice? They look like they'd rather be anywhere else than on the ice suited up for the kelly green right now... pathetic.

They already cancelled it due to lack of interest.

They can't put in a 60 minute effort. Flat footed and confused right now... not sure why, they have done this many times before.

It would be very fitting for this senior class to blow a lead on senior night.

That was a bit of comedy to last night's tragedy for sure...

This team needs to play smart hockey... Jeebus, can they stay out of the damn box for the last 15 minutes?

He played very well last night but when you take an extremely dumb penalty in OT that loses the game for your team people tend to remember that, and only that. No question on the kid's hustle and skill. Something tells me he had a little chat with the coaches after last night's loss.

He sure was last night...

This team is fun to watch when they play hard.
