There was quite a bit of doom and gloom in this forum last night and frankly I may have been one as well had I post... That being said, I think that the boys played a whole different game tonight. I keep forgetting how young this team is and that it may take until halfway through the season for them to completely gel. I think a split versus a very talented team this early in the season on the road is a very promising sign.

This game is going to get ugly...

It would be nice to see Berry get control of his troops... The fact that this team is still this undisciplined at this point of the season is quite concerning.

While not all three goals are on Scheel, he does not look sharp so far at all. Our defense needs to wake up, our forwards need to hit the net and Berry should give Thome some net time.

I’m embarrassed as to what a lazy, cheap and stupid team this has become this season. Simply unbelievable... I never in my wildest imagination thought I’d see a UND squad act this childish. If we have to keep Berry around for a few more seasons, so be it but the rest of the coaching staff should be shown the door and Brad should be on a very short leash. I can stand losing, but poor sportsmanship of this level is completely inexcusable.

Jesus Thome. This team is a fucking train wreck.

Thome isnt the greatest goalie by any stretch but he is playing head and shoulders above what we saw him do at the beginning of the year. That being said, I’m really looking forward to seeing how Scheel progresses next season.

That’s why I said it wouldn’t have mattered anyway... my only point was that Poolman wasn’t the only UND with his head up his bum on that play.

That goal was certainly mostly on Poolman watching his feet but Thome was too far out of the crease as well... it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

Only against UND though... DU’s PP is worst in the nation since Xmas. Oh, another stupid penalty? Color me shocked.
