At least bring in some new guys with some fire in their belly... There are hockey players out there that may not have the best talent but would do absolutely anything to skate for a program like UND has.

Just yet another example of expecting someone else to pick up your slack... In the past we had the skill and drive to still win games without playing a complete game. It makes me sick to my stomach watching how well this team can play for 10 minutes (right after the first goal) and then just go back to sleep. I would assume we are in for a major-league @$$-kicking next weekend.

Frankly I suppose we should be happy getting one point on the weekend with that performance... slow clap for UND hockey.

Imagine what a different game it would have been had UND played with the grit we saw in OT more than 10 minutes out of the first 60. Shame...

Well, UND found another gear after that goal... hopefully not too little, too late. Too bad they have to find a second gear and can't just play a sixty minute game.

You don't feel they are playing worse than earlier in the year? I certainly do... as far as dogging it goes, there are times where a lot of guys are coasting... there are times where guys don't want the puck, waiting for the next guy to make the play. Other times you can see they are trying so hard they are just gripping their sticks too tight. I don't know the answers to this mess but I do know that this is a way different team than we saw at times in the first half of the season.

How did they not call that interference on Kiersted?

What I find so unforgivable about this year's team is that we've seen that they can play well... It would be a different story if this team had played this bad the whole season. The fact that they keep getting worse and worse shows the kind of weak mentality this group of players has. The streak of NCAA post season appearances seems to be more and more likely to be done... this team just doesn't have the heart. I feel bad for all the hard-working teams before them that put in the work to develop over the course of the season.

Well Miami knows they can play a very physical game without repercussions... who cares if they take a penalty? They know UND isn't going to do a damn thing with a power play.

Nothing quite like a UND power play to make a very average team look fantastic...

I just tuned into the game... I was posting that before the Miami goal. Is Thome hurt? This goal sits squarely on Kiersted's shoulders.

Why the eff is Cam still in net tonight... I guess the coaches have given up just like the players.

They whole team played like garbage for most of the game, and yes, Cam is part of that team. To say that none of this loss is on Cam is ludicrous. I'm not sure that Thome could've done better... but Vegas odds are he wouldn't have done any worse.

If they didn't they would be sitting the next night... if Berry doesn't have Yon and Casey Johnson in tomorrow he is seriously off his rocker.

Is there any reason to play Cam anymore? Given the fact the Thome has shown he is a decent goalie (better IMHO) why not ride him since the wheels have long since come off this bus anyhow. This team has shown it has no guts... lazy play, wanting the next guy to pick up the slack... Even if they somehow make the tourney they have shown they have no business being there. No grit, no heart... Berry needs to look to next year to correct this mentality and the first way to do that would be to get Thome more playing time.

I can deal with a team that skates hard and loses... it is very difficult to watch a team work hard for the first 20 minutes and then coast. Some players are too used to having things come easy to them and others are just waiting for someone else to pick up the slack.
