Every angle I saw shows Thome to the right side of his net, clear if the Omaha player... besides that, the puck had already crossed the line by the time any contact (that may or may not had happened) had occurred. Anyone upset with the refs should redirect their anger to the rightful owner, Bowen.

It was a tough pill to swallow when they decided the refs could go back and review penalties to see if they should be majors instead of minors... But reviewing no-calls after the fact is complete bull$h/+. Where was the review on the knee that took Mismash out?

I really won’t miss Rhett... I can’t remember another player in recent memory that takes such stupid penalties at the worst possible times. He was clearly outplayed on the breakaway and in his true, selfish form, retaliates with a slash.

Exactly this. I just listened to the game but it seems like they competed as well as one could expect a UND team of this caliber of talent. It must be me just aging but I'm not nearly as upset at UND's struggles as I would have been a decade ago. All programs, yes even the top ones, go through years of poor play and below average recruiting. I have good feelings about the upcoming years for UND, coaching will be the biggest question mark in my opinion. I shudder to think what this team would be going through if we had to rely on Thome to backstop us through these struggles. I take faith in the fact that in at least most of the games UND has played this year the have at least competed... Frankly I'm surprised this team hasn't been blown out a lot more this season.

This loss is on Berry... This is not the team that can switch to a prevent defense and effing win... How does the coaching staff not see that?

If I wasn't a fan I would find it hilarious how bad UND is at scoring... unbelievable... I never, ever thought it could get this bad. I remember not too long ago I was wishing that this team could put together a 60 minute performance. A 20 minute performance of old-time UND hockey would be more than enough to put the screws to this Canisius squad.
