What's your number that's acceptable to have things "back to normal"? Apparently more information is bad. Is that along the lines of the US has the most cases because we test the most and if we don't test than we'll have less cases?
-
You doubted it was a plastic bag. Then you posted a video that literally stated it was a plastic bag.
-
The video you posted literally stated it wasn't a molotov cocktail, it was a bag with something in it. Way to disprove your own narrative boomer.
-
There is a whole lot of narrative framing and wrongdoing by both sides, there is no moral high ground so not sure why you're trying to claim it here.
-
Turns out a plastic bag is now the same as a molotov cocktail. But one makes for a better story.
-
So they plan on restarting fall camp and all the testing? Are they going to look into the "senior football fund" at Chubbs that boosters donated to when players thought they were done playing? No NCAA violations there I'm sure...

Let's keep up here: Trump's solutions to hurricanes is to nuke them.

Again, you support a party that has a layup and instead picked Joe Biden. And that is after selecting Hillary Clinton 4 years ago. There is no false equivalency. The polls being close shows how terrible the D's handled this. They act like they don't actually want to win and are happy to complain from a minority position. Where's the lie?
-
Yet you support a party who had a layup to stop it.....and they picked Joe Biden. Sounds like they are just as complicit.
-
What percentage of your posts are you just copying and pasting headlines/articles or tweets? Opinions are more persuasive when they at least include some original thought instead of just posting what other people think.

UCA Jacksonville State North Alabama Multiple FBS teams who agreed to a game but NDSU "claimed" they were low-balled The more info that comes out, the more it was obvious that NDSU was just delaying cancelling their season to try to appease their fan base. #ButWeCalled100Teams

I'd say both candidates have done plenty of using their influence to get their children job's they weren't qualified for.

This reminds me of where random people try to ask someone if they have actually seen The Wire. And then that someone happens to be David Simon. While I wouldn't say I agree with all of his views, Simon has been pretty clear that the premise and point of The Wire is not in line with the points Goon is trying to make. Plenty of articles out there about it.

Nah, Trump's ideolgoue has always been whatever happens to be convenient for his own personal pocketbook. Pretty much starts and stops there. Maybe that makes him a centrist because he can support either side when it benefits him. However, he has a knack for understanding what people want to hear and capitalizing on that. For example, he is far from a small-government conservative but he has no problem talking down about the ideology that small-government conservatives don't like or claiming liberals are a direct attack on what they value (despite him in support of very similar policies). He's also painted himself as almost a character where he can get away with making blatant lies and just moves on to the next thing. What's unfortunate is the decorum he does it with. Even those who support his policies have to cringe more often than not when he's speaking unfiltered. While things were definitely polarized before he took office, at best, he has done nothing to quell it while at worst, he's flamed it for his benefit. But he continues to play the media like a fiddle and has made them the enemy instead of himself. Frankly, its fascinating.

The quote from ML is either incomplete or contradictory to earlier statements. They already admitted there were teams willing to play, NDSU just didn't like the price. That's different than 3 not willing to play (especially since there was supposedly one lined up) and considerably different than the narrative that teams were "scared".

Here's your answer: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/6621008-UND-has-29-athletes-test-positive-for-COVID-19 So not only are all those athletes now in quarantine, but after contact tracing, anyone who meets the definition of close contact with them has to quarantine for 14 days. How many players would actually be able to practice? You're going to lose whole position groups or your whole offense or defense if you follow the CDC guidelines. On top of that, you can test players on Monday and hope you get the tests back by Thursday or Friday to play a Saturday game. If there is a positive and that player has been practicing all week, how much of your team are you going to lose to the quarantine rules and who's left to play the game. Again, all of this is laid out very well by the UNDFootball 360 guys: https://undfootball360.com/news/the-reason-why-college-football-was-postponed/ On top of that, here's the guidelines UND would have had to follow to play Kansas State:

No, the charade of pretending the game was going to be played would have hurt finances and possibly hurt players. There is not a single person that didn't want to play them. I'll wait on your answer why NDSU didn't take the games available to them though. "Anyone, anywhere......as long it is convenient for us"
-
They were ready to sign the contracts until the border closing got extended. Unfortunate and convenient all at the same time....
-
Maybe they are just smarter than certain counterparts and understood the realities and finances didn't add up to playing this fall? They didn't try to stretch it out a few extra weeks to decieve their fans? Anyone know why NDSU keeps claiming "anyone, anywhere" yet turned down multiple offers to play because "they were lowballed" or "teams were asking too much"? Seems to me there were options for games and NDSU turned them down. Larsen and Entz did a little dog and pony show to pretend they wanted to play even though they knew it wasn't going to happen, making them no different than almost every other FCS team.
-
No. They were offered games but the price wasn't to their liking whether it be home or away. If it was all about "bring on the competition", that wouldn't have been a factor. Yep
-
Not even 30 hours later and NDSU has given up any attempt at playing this fall. What a shocker, who saw that coming?
-
LMAO The Bison athletic department is trying to do whatever it can to get some money. Nothing more, nothing less. It has aboslutely nothing to do with right or wrong. I'd really be curious to see how closely they are following the CDC guidelines that the NCAA stated teams need to. UND360 laid out pretty well the pitfalls and impossibilities of trying to play football with those restrictions. Honestly, they are just stringing it out as long as they can. https://undfootball360.com/news/the-reason-why-college-football-was-postponed/ Nebraska isn't playing football this fall unless something drastically changes or they are stupid. The B1G commissioner already stated if they play football this fall, they will no longer be a member of the B1G. Seems like an awful dumb decision and cost yourself $50 million/year. Again, doesn't matter whether you think they are right or wrong, the decision was made as a conference. That's the price of admission. Frankly, no one, except maybe the SEC is playing football this fall and even that would be a shocker. Don't get me wrong, its terrible and I'm not saying I agree with it. But I also see it for what it is.

It get's kind of amusing to watch people almost unintentionally stumble on the reason why "keep the vulverable sheltered and let everyone else live their life" won't actually work in reality. So this is something that Trump signed into law and was approved by a Republican led house then correct? Crazy how both sides come off as a dumpster fire.
-
Per the UND 360 write-up, the requirements were over the top. The insinuation was that they didn't think teams were following them the way they should be and as things continue to play out, any positive test would theoretically sideline huge portions/position groups of your team at a time. Again, that's assuming teams are honestly following the protocols as they are written.

I don't think his reference is to UND practicing, as UND never started fall camp. Bubba wouldn't be the coach in North Dakota to be asking those pretty pointed questions to.
