Not a chance. Faison has never scheduled a one-time OOC road game against an FCS team, no way will he sign a contract for two.
-
Why does NDSU feel entitled to two games in Fargo? UND isn't entitled to anything nor is NDSU. The point being made is that GT continuously makes scheduling decisions that are contrary to every reason he has trotted out to the media as a hold-up for renewing the rivalry on the football field. But it isn't a coincidence that 2015 was left open. The games will be scheduled and it will be a home/home.
-
Not saying I agree, just stating what I believe will happen and what the "rationale" behind it will be.
-
The 2015 date was conveniently still left open. Won't be surprised if a deal is signed for 2015 in Fargo and 2019 in Grand Forks. That allows NDSU to Grand Forks in a 12 game season. Not real concerned about it either way.

Isn't it 3? Grady, Santiago and Blackwell.

For being such an elite team, must be pretty embarrassing that a team as bad as UND took them to the wire last year. UND's facilities will be on par with SDSU's once both have their IPF's complete.

There's been a handful of articles in the Herald indicating the Rhombus Guy's owners have been looking to put a brewery in there. Assuming that is what you're referring to?
-
If you read newspaper stories, they have referred to UND as the Green and White for decades. Announcers would make the same comments as well. Referring to a team the same way through the course of an article/store or game gets monotonous.
-
People (particularly sportswriters) have been calling UND that longer than you or I have been alive. Unfortunately for you, it won't go away with a new nickname. But the good news is, it also won't end up being the new nickname either.

Molberg was a pretty prized recruit. Had quite a few B1G teams interested and likely would have had an offer for Iowa had he not hurt his ankle his senior year. Craig Bohl kept recruiting him even after he verballed to UND, including calling him from TCF Bank Stadium right before kickoff in one of the NDSU/UM games. Not saying the results have been equivalent to what the hype was (albeit very, very early in his college career), but at the time Molberg picked UND, it was a big deal.

One other thing to consider, it seems that quite a few of the players that have become big contributors for SU were guys that were late bloomers, guys who really blossomed their senior year. Now, as was stated, if they are getting guys that were at or near the top of their board, they probably won't lose any sleep on that and guessing they still have a fair amount of scholarship money available, but there are many players that aren't on anyone's radar right now that will become big time contributors for D-1 schools in the next few years. A good recent example is Joe Schobert. Was ready to take a PWO from UND and ended up playing as a true freshman at Wisconsin after having a good senior season and great all-star games in the spring/summer.

Guessing Arkansas's state legislature didn't get involved...
-
Not so certain it was a UND fan..
-
He had zero intention of checking on recruiting, that I can assure you of.
-
For someone who rants and raves about people bringing up UND all the time, you sure keep a pretty good watch on this message board.

Green and pink are official colors of the University and academics. Green and white were adopted as the official athletic colors long ago.

Couldn't agree with you more. Everything can and will be manipulated by opposing fans.

Just off the top of my head... 3. It would be a constant circus full of distractions. The Walk for Change would be just a preview of what you would continue to see. I'm sure all the student athletes would be real excited that the protests, letters and comments where a nickname is the focus instead of their performance on the field and in the classroom. Sounds like something people would be excited to sign up for. 4. Per the settlement, the teams can't use the Sioux nickname in postseason play regardless or the games are forfeited. All the coaches, particularly Hak, would be excited to know that their season is over once the regular season/conference tournament has concluded. Most people aren't excited about losing the Sioux name or having to choose a new one. But that doesn't change that we will always be The University of North Dakota. That's the name student-athletes sign up to play for. That's the name alumni and fans donate to and cheer for. That's the one thing that has never changed.

Good to see the staff hard at work in Minnesota.

Ugly uniforms like that are not limited to Adidas by any means.
-
I think you're correct. All the losing makes everything a blur.
-
Should have traded Willingham last year. Couldn't trade him this year even if they wanted to, no one wanted him.
-
Pretty sure it's going into the IPF.
-
Practice at 8:30 tomorrow for anyone who wants to check it out.

You don't think that a list of all applicants the day after the initial posting period was over or checking to see if anyone applied in the last 2 weeks since isn't worth reporting?
