Pretty sad 2 goals in a row for Wisco! Genoway's lazy pass on the last one was so bad! We need to be more agressive and get the puck on 'net if you get an open look too! It's gonna take a LOT to get out of this hole. We need a PP goal off the gate here in the 3rd and we MIGHT have a good chance of winnin' this one!

You know, if Midco could have picked up the UAA feed last weekend, does anyone know if we will be getting the UW feed? Usually I can pick up those games on digital cable, but they are not on any of the Fox Sports channels that I can pick up?

Any idea on when the 2009 UND football schedule will be coming out and if they've heard of any games (when and where) lined up?

I was just wondering what you guys and gals thought about the news that the Sioux get bypassed by the Summit League due to the nickname/logo issue? What do you think the Sioux's next steps are to possibly get into a league and do you think that ULTIMATELY the nickname/logo issue does need to be resolved eventually? Like soon, otherwise the Sioux will be missing out on good quality chances albeit opponents to play and (as per what happened yesterday) leagues to be a part of?

I remember back in fall session of '01 we got hit by that big a@# snowstorm the week before Halloween (13 inches I believe) and they actually called off the afternoon I believe. I don't believe it was the whole day. I also remember when I was a junior in high school winter of '98 we got hit by 30 inches of snow in Williston and they actually shut down our high school for a couple of the days. It was the first time they did that in over 20 years!!! It takes a lot for North Dakota to completely shut down their school systems I guess.

You guys happen to forget that UMD DID beat Grand Valley State. The team that UND had struggled with the last two years in DII football. I don't care if GVSU had a guy or two missing from that game, UMD DID BEAT THEM IN 2OT. I just think that we need to start looking towards the future in FCS play and not dwell in the past as to "Oh the NSIC won a national title." or "Oh the Bulldogs would have had 3 losses in the conference this year if it was the NCC still." Point being, they won and went an impressive 15-0 while doing it. Quit dwelling on the past and be happy that UND is FINALLY moving onto Division I status!

"Fight On Sioux"? That isn't that gay a@# song they ALWAYS play at halftime during the Sioux football games is it? If it is than I'd have to say "HELL NO!" That is one GAYYYYY song they play EVERY FLIPPIN' TIME DURING THE HALF AT THE FOOTBALL GAMES!

I liked it a lot better, about 6 years ago, when they played the beginning of "8 Mile" by Eminem at the beginning of the games. "Look, if you had, one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you everything you wanted, one moment, would you capture or just let it slip."

Brad Eidness is doing a great job at goalie! What we lack this year is consistant scoring! You can't win many games when you only score friggin' 1 or 2 goals! Our guys need to quit cycling the puck A LOT and try wristing more shots or one timers! Plus don't give up on them this year! They'll get better, I have a feeling!

Now this is a positive way of looking at things! Hopefully we can turn things around now and starting scoring more! GO SIOUX

What a tough loss to swallow! I know it's early in the season still, but you like to see the boys win against teams that they should easily beat! They need to shoot the puck more and attack the net! They have a long ways to go this season if they want to get far at all!! *shakes head*..still a tough loss to swallow.

ARGH..this game is not even fun to watch anymore with all of these god damn penalties being called! Shepard and Hunt are NOT a good WCHA duo to referee games! You tend to get no flow going for any of the two teams! ARGH On a happy note 2-0 DU over *cough* gopherchokers!

Where's the offensive spark?? Boy the Sioux D looked awesome tonight! Minus that last goal that UMD got. If Lapointe doesn't high stick it, it goes over the net and the Sioux come away with a victory! ARGH, so disappointing, but it is a tie to say the least! WTF with all of the penalties too?!? I swear to god Sheperd ranks up there with Don Adams as the two most horses*#@ referees in the WCHA. I don't know about you guys, but it seemed like they were making a lot of makeup calls?!? (One for UND, okay, now one for UMD) Hopefully the guys can regroup and pull out that big "W" tomorrow night!!! GO SIOUX!!!
