I like everything I see here EXCEPT I see UND getting at least 3 points on the road. This puts UND in second by themselves.

Yes, they are a premier conference for Child Abuse(Penn State)put on suspension, Booster abuse(Ohio State)last year bowl ineligible, and Academic Abuse(Minn.) vacated final four and numerous records. I would be real proud to be associated with that conference. When is the last time Minnesota beat NDSU in football? Oh wait, no more embarasment like that, can't play FCS schools, so they are now going to play patsies like mountain west and WAC schools. Premiere Conference they are.

This was last week and with single game tickets going on sale next week, they may not be offering packages anymore. I was just persistent. I literally called both ticketmaster and the Xcel about 5 times. But at that time they told me if I went to the box office, they would sell. Like you said, may be to late. If you want the tickets, I would buy them right away on first day available. Xcel told me this is best they have seen sales in years.

But in all seriousness, before we talk about the trophy, UND needs a lot to happen. First and foremost, UND needs to take 3-4 points this weekend. Like Hak says, the rest will work itself out.

Anyone notice that the tourney is a 2 day event with a 3rd place game. People in the past have complained that the 3 games played in week prior to the ncaa's has hurt some teams.

I totally agree with your priority seating not being a carry over. Yes it may have taken years for some people to build those loyalty points. We are looking at a new conference and a new venue. I have a feeling that pricing may have something to do with who sits where. Center ice is usually more expensive than corners and upper deck less than lower. The Final 5 is abnormal in that lower bowl, club and upper sides same price. This worked for them, but those days are gone. Do not be surprised if the almighty dollar and supply demand comes into play at this tourney. I foresee a different pricing structure coming.

I look at the NCHC tourney and the Xcel will not be as profitable as the majority of the fans who went to the final 5 will now be in Minneapolis. They are going to regret not signing on the dotted line for the NCHC.

I am looking forward to a weekend with Hennesey. I know there is no tv and may or may not break down and purchase the webcast. This weekend is going to be important for us to springboard into the playoffs. I am hoping that Hak pics a goal tender and sticks with him.

The way I look at it, we will clinch home ice tonight with us winning and MSUM losing in CC again. UMN and UNO will also loose, so we will go into final week with a 3 point lead for second place. UND 6 BSU 1 tater gets to play for final 5 minutes.

After watching this episode, I had some thoughts about this program. Gleason said that when we win the city celebrates. I want to amend that statement and I hope someone would get this information to him. When the Sioux win, the state celebrates. I am also thinking that we should stay as North Dakota for a team name. This would be unique and it is the best way to keep our tie to what we are. WE ARE NORTH DAKOTA.

My gut is telling me that we will get 4 points and be in second place all by ourselves after this weekend. I really think that DU is going to take at least one in Mn and UNO Wis split. This is going to be a good weekend.
