  1. Based on the quality of the writing, I think it's quite likely that he types using the "Claw".
  2. This wins "Most Absurd Comparison of All-Time Regarding UND Sports", but in the end, it doesn't matter. It's a non-researched, throw away line on an afternoon panel show.
  3. It would be nice if the Herald actually linked back to their own story on UND admin cuts in the story about the banners, but I'm probably expecting too much of their reporters. Instead, they cite the 1,300 people that signed a change.org petition.
  4. Complete lack of understanding and empathy for anyone, but themselves. Over the last two years, many good people at UND (Admin, Staff and Faculty) have lost their jobs. Their Jobs! Advocating for more firings to save sports losing a combined $2M-$3M annually is completely out of touch with reality. BTW - The Herald's staff were on the scene with video and it looks like guys hanging the banners so I am not attributing this to any specific team on campus.
  5. Yes that's correct, but don't let facts get in the way.
  6. Such a lazy refrain.
  7. I agree that it would be interesting to see the financials of all sports. Port got this from a "legislator in Bismarck". Unfortunately, it seems that this info is hard to find otherwise.
  8. I agree. That's information I would expect to be covered by the local reporter assigned to the sport.
  9. Those are surprising numbers. Likely aided by the broadcast being on free (CBS) tv.
  10. Say Anything has the 2016 financials for WH. At the bottom of the "article". http://www.sayanythingblog.com/entry/unds-womens-hockey-program-lost-1-9-million-2016/
  11. Glad BF mentioned the numbers again. Did anyone else get the impression that Heitkamp had no clue that WH played in the Ralph? He kept asking what UND was going to do with that "beautiful" WH facility.
  12. Not if you are only interested in competing for National Championships.
  13. Exactly what my buddy and I were saying. Besides the fact that the more UND fans in the building on Friday, the better for OSU against Duluth. Maybe the percentage the schools make from selling their allotment is just too small for OSU to worry about.
  14. My buddy lives in Columbus and his wife actually got an email letting her know that tickets were available to students, which she used to be. When he called the OSU ticket office, they grilled him about how he knew about the sale and verified her name and the email address. He was going to try to buy them in my name, but OSU was having none of it and would only put the tickets in his name or his wife's name. So, to answer your question, no luck here.
  15. Here is a short clip of Joe Lunardi discussing the Fighting Hawks. Can't wait for Thursday! http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=18898138
  16. I'm hoping that it is only during the holidays and the good folks at WDAZ are getting the week off.
  17. My guess is that is the second handicap accessible section since you got a wheelchair row. If you are referring to the "2" in the upper ring, those are all suites (1-40).
  18. You can call The Ralph box office at Phone: 701.777.4689
  19. Ordered 10 more. She said they are really going fast once the student ticket office gets them.
  20. On a positive note, five people (family/friends) that have not attended a game this year have bought tickets for the playoff game this morning. Three of them are driving in from Minot. I'm looking forward to seeing many new fans at this game.
  21. Here's more info. Looks like you can watch on undsports.com The University of North Dakota will unveil the Fighting Hawks Logo on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the UND High Performance Center. The Fighting Hawks new logo and wordmark will be revealed at that time. Please join us if you are able. If you cannot be there in person, a video of the unveiling can be viewed at undsports.com.
  22. The University will reveal the Fighting Hawks graphic identity Wednesday, June 22, 11 a.m. in the UND Athletics High Performance Center.
  23. If your buddy is a movie fan, the Sky-Vu Drive In in Warren, MN can be a fun evening. It's about a 30 minute drive from Grand Forks. http://www.skyvumovies.com/index.php
  24. Scott was a talented broadcaster and an all around wonderful guy. I very much enjoyed his work with UND basketball in the early to mid 90's. He will be missed.
  25. I have to admit, you are pretty hard to read based on your posts, so I can't tell if you are trying to be funny or sarcastic. If you are seriously asking that question, apparently you were not attending games during Gino's last couple years when the hockey team was not winning and the fans were nowhere to be found. This was also true for the majority of sports at UND during the 90's. When a team was winning, fans were there. When a team was struggling, tickets were hard to give away.
