Ben was living in Colorado and working with his dads trucking company, Fortune Transportation. Cause of death is unknown. Will post more info at a later time.

It is with great sadness that we send this out. Ben Olson, CFO of Fortune Transportation, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday 3/24/2018. Please join us in prayer for Ben’s wife Susan Kolbow-Olson, and the Olson family. Blessed be the memory of Benjamin Olson. Ben was an offensive lineman on the FIGHTING SIOUX football team redshirting in 1999 and playing 2000-2003. Member of 2001 National Championship Team Just ran into Ben two weeks ago and had a conversation regarding FIGHTING SIOUX Sports.

I may be wearing a purple cow t shirt under my FIGHTING SIOUX jersey at SF. I did attend MSU-Mankato for one year before I got married. Wife got a job in Crookston and the rest is all history of how I became a FIGHTING SIOUX fan. Also was a season ticket holder when MSU first went D1. Wore my Sioux jersey to all UND vs Mankato games.

Put me down for 1 for sure and maybe 3. Tickets bought. Motel booked? But looking for a fun time. Was at game tonight and have not jumped off the FIGHTING SIOUX bandwagon YET!

Will you still have the annual meeting at the HOGGSBREATH if they do not make it.

Was at the game last night. Extremely disappointed in effort in 2nd and third period. Must see a win this evening. MUST STQY OUT OF THE PENALTY BOX. Must do a better job of killing off penalties.

Bought it from some guy that walked into my arena and said he had a DEAL on the purchase of FIGHTING SIOUX jerseys. Never did get his name but paid him cash.

Grand kids are fired up to watch games this weekend. It was wear your favorite team jersey day today at school. My grandkids go to school in southern minnesota right smack in goofer and purple cow territory. Would like to see a sweep this weekend!
