You really find it hard to believe that the WHCA didn't mess around until today to make the announcement. There was no appeal. No one knew for sure that there would be a suspension until a little before 4:30.

What? I can say with 100 percent certainty that Athletics didn't know before 4:15 this afternoon that Malone would be suspended, although they pursued some sort of announcement (for a suspension or not) all day today.

Rumor is that the WCHA will make an announcement tonight.

At the game. They are showing the 2000 Championship game on the big screen and 10-15 of the players from that team are in the REA lobby signing autographs.... Commodore, Spiewak, Skarperud, Kollar, etc. Apparently Commodore is going to drop the first puck and the 2000 team will be honored during intermission.

Man, I was so happy I picked Air Force, but Denver is eating it and I picked Yale and they're also eating it. On a positive note, neither of those brackets are completely dead.
