Genoway just signed a two year, two way deal with the Minnesota Wild, FYI. This comes directly from a scout for the team I talked with this morning. Nice work Chay!

Never argue with a troll about his points, as they never make any sense anyway. Call them out on being a troll and move on...

Tie for me: Getting to see the team play in Mankato and having an amazing time Seeing them dominate the final five the way they did

You look about as classy as that dude right now trolling a teams mesage board at 9:00 in the morning.. And, oh, what a suprise, you don't mention which team you cheer for... NIce life dude... I'm sure you're happy deep down about how your life turned out right? You must be to need to pull this crap to feel better about yourself, correct?

Either a green sweatshirt or my green 00's style jersey... Probably the jersey thursday and the sweatshirt on saturday...

This may have been mentioned, but the GOLD RAMP behind McGovern's is a great place to park. It's right by all the bars/restauants on 7th street and it's pretty easy to get out from there and get home... Plus it's usually a little bit less expensive than the Rivercenter ramp, although further from the actual arena. If you are going to the bars before/after the game on 7th street, park here... The hardest parking will be for the Thursday game, as the city is full of people parked there for work...

I'd take the route 54 bus downtown and then take a cab home after the game/bar time... Cabs from Downtown Minneapolis to St Paul are ~$33-35, I've done it several times...
-
I'll be there with the wife and two good friends. Got tickets from a Badger fan who obviously won't need them this year, or for several years likely... Actually still waiting for the tickets to arrive from the guy, but he's a family friend so I trust him to come through...

We should put this onto about 10,000 Green T-shirts...
-
You'll be able to sit at the bar and watch the game until a table opens up... You shouldn't have to wait more than 15-20 minutes.

Love that Sensors shows these games.. Now that FSN shows so many games I hardly go there anymore unforunately...
-
Just went to test this out and realized it myself. I'm pumped! I run my computer into my 42" Plasma and it's just as good as watching a non-HD normal Sioux game on FCS...

I'm going to have to do some digging about this tonight. Trying to figure out whether to get people together at our house or Joe Sensors for the game..
-
Anyone know is Comcast in the Twin Citites carries ESPN3.com? I could try at home tonight but thought someone here might know...

I've talked to someone who worked for 20+ years at the station and it's cost, plain and simple. He said they hardly make ANY money broadcasting sioux games, and never have. You can run a commercial on the sioux broadcast for something like $300 per 30 seconds. This is also why you won't see the games in HD soon either...

Last year was different than years past without the Goph's there. It made for a less crowded, more pleasurable experience. It's always fun to watch the Gophers fans lose at the final five, however. They have a habit of cheering against the sioux no matter who we're playing which can get a bit annoying... Advice: Buy the cheapest tickets you can, and then move to better seats. There always seems to be a lot of no-shows at the Final Five for some reason. People buy the 5 game ticket pack and then don't go to several of the games.

Anyone know if they have onsite parking for games at MSU? We just scored free tickets for Friday's game and I've never been there. Pretty pumped about this...
-
I'll try it...

Bought the webcast tonight and my computer crashed. Of couse b2 never sent me a confirmation email and now I can't rejoin the stream. Freaking pissed here.
-
I thought it worked pretty well last night actually. the Wisco stream last weekend off cbs sports was definitely clearer, but I liked the way this stream was expandable to cover the entire screen.

I've been to 4-5 games in Madison now and never had any real issues at all. I met way more !@#$%! fans at the one Gopher/Sioux game I went to than at any of the badger games. State street is a different story from the actual game, however. You're bound to meet a few real douche's on a big stretch of bars like that, especially when you're wearing a big bright green sioux jersey after the game. It's like a douche magnet.

Kohl Center is loud for sure, and the fans are really into it. They'll cheer just as loud when the team losing by 3 goals as they are when they are up 3 goals. That being said, the upper deck there blows, and in many spots you can't see the full ice. The end are especially bad and you can't see the near net from many of the upper rows on the ends without standing...
