As someone who currently lives on the VERY EDGE of the U of M campus... I am now 100% certain I would have hated going to college at the U of M. But I kind of knew that when I was in high school deciding on colleges. Everyone's different. My cousin ran track at the U and loved it, whereas my other cousin hated it and transferred to a smaller school after a semester. Though I'm from a small town of 5,000 people, so going to school in Grand Forks was "big city" enough for me. I think UND is more appealing to those from a similar background as mine. Small town to medium sized towns where they aren't overwhelmed by all the people and traffic. Big City kids like those down here in the 'burbs ... this is the norm. It's what they know. Some aren't up for a different environment, while others are. It's always interesting to see when recruits make committments what their background is and where they come from because we do seem to get a mix. Minnesota isn't like that. The majority of Minnesota recruits come from basically the same background ...

Not sure since fightingsioux.com screwed up and charged me for a whole year instead of a month. Oh well, it's already paid for so now I can watch online WHENEVER I want ... for a year lol.

Not to be a negative person since I do live in a bubble of positivity but I get the impression Fasching will go Gopher as well. Maybe I'm wrong. That would be sweet. Basically, my theory is: if they live down here in the Metro area, and the Gophers are in the running, they'll go there. So much brainwash down here. Cammarata's at Shattuck, so we may have a better shot at him. I also think we seem to be set okay at forward for a few years, so I still think we need to look for some D.

I heard the game is only on TV on Saturday in Wisconsin. Clearly I need to find out if any bars near the Wisconsin border within driving distance from the Twin Cities will have it on....

I didn't think this was a new development I thought it was already on FCS. It's Monday... maybe I'm losing it.... haha.

Thank you for saying what I've been thinking. I'm confident that Eids is going to rebound from the rough start that he has had. We just need to battle through this tough stretch here and we will be ok. If Eids can regain the form he had in the second half of last season, we'll be in business. Heck, if he's even at 50% of that form we'll be okay.

It's my friend's birthday so I won't be able to watch or listen on the radio. This might be a good thing. Sending positive vibes to the boys! Go Sioux!

I was so excited for the win I forgot I picked Frattin in Sioux Survivor!

Oh, I wasn't referring to on this board ... just some things I saw other places outside of here predicting the UMD sweep. I think a split is realistic ... a sweep not so much. Though... I'm obviously hoping for one for the good guys!

So... am I the only Sioux fan not feeling negative about our chances this weekend? Missing players and all, I like our chances. I feel like I'm alone with all the UMD sweep predictions going around out there... Let's do this boys!

Good defensive forward . Shut down Kyle Rau in the section championship last year - I've seen him play once or twice. That's what I know.

An article on TSN says the incident is "still under review" by the WCHA. Going on past history, I'd say he gets a game. Just my opinion. Especially if they are still reviewing it... and you know... they do give game suspensions for "trying to fight" these days...

Do you even know what was said? I know he said something to Maiani and I don't think he was trying to chirp at them or anything.... he was obviously concerned at the time about Jesse if you saw his face.

I'm nervously excited! I'm attempting to watch the hawks/wild game and the sioux webcast on my computer at the same time. This can't possibly end well. My buddy just texted me to inform/rub it in that he is going to the hawks/wild game ... but at least i can watch both now haha. Oh, I'm also hoping the mono rumor about forbs is just that.
