Parise again. We probably will ride him the rest of the way then after he gets this shutout tonight.

Nowhere near a sellout. I should quick drive up there. I wanted to go, but didn't want to suffer the long drive home if we lose. We have just been too inconsistent and never know which team will show up. Hopefully we can get it done.

Thanks administrator. I am sick of hearing about that skippy crap all of the time. That is getting old and it also makes me hungry for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Does anybody out there need to get rid of their tickets for Saturday? Last year Dagies and I hooked up to help each other out and I was just wondering if anybody was in this situation again this year? If so, just send me a message through this site. I was going to buy tickets from St. Cloud awhile back to avoid the fees on ticketmaster, but they wouldn't sell them until closer to the game dates. I just never checked up on it again. I am sure some are still available though since St. Cloud is so horrible this year. Anybody else planning on making this trip?

The one thing I was wondering about that site though was that Jason Blake was number 5. Did he have a brother that played and was number 28?

So we have home for ice for sure now?

What were his save totals for the weekend? Also, while I was listening I found this great site of game worn jerseys. Kind of fun to look back at the many different styles. We should have a throwback jersey done for a game and then auction those off. http://www.gvjerseys.com/querysearch_team_...h+Dakota&page=1

Now the tides are starting to turn. UW has now taken on the role of being the snakebitten team.

Would be nice to get one here just to tick off these announcers even more!

Name, Yr GP W L T GA MIN GAA SH SV SV% Philippe Lamoureux, Fr 17 7 7 2 36 983 2.20 0 376 .913 Jake Brandt, Sr 2 1 0 0 4 100 2.40 0 34 .895 Jordan Parise, So 16 9 6 1 38 907 2.51 0 339 .899 Parise should have a save percentage above 90% now after this weekend. I wonder how Hakstol will play the goalies next weekend? You would want to keep going with Parise while he is doing well, but it would be nice to give the others a chance as well just in case. I'm not a goalie, but I would think that practice wouldn't be even close to the game experience.

I might head up to Sensers now to watch since I can't watch from the comfort of my couch.

I noticed that Brandt was also dressed as a backup along with Phil. Parise made a huge turnaround during the game and came up a huge at the end. It was nice to see Greene get a goal to backup his stong words in the paper about just getting it done. Hopefully we can do it again tomorrow.

What other games were on television tonight?
-
Parise looks shaky and was going down very early in the 1st. We look a little faster than we have been lately and are playing aggressively. No more defensive meltdowns and leaving our goalies out to dry and we should be right with them the rest of the way.

I'm waiting for directv channel 642.

When I heard that there was a souvenir included in the package, I was hoping it would be something neat like a puck or pin not just the ticket itself and plastic holder. I wonder how many people will hold onto their women's ticket for September and not lose it or toss it out? I'm kind of bummed though that they listed the ticket prices differently for each game because I will be selling them individually to friends all for the same price not determined by the placement of the game. This is what I have done in the past by just dividing the total by 5 and charging that price, oh well. Should be good hockey and I can't wait again as well.

I guess now that somebody posted someplace else that it was a bad thing for the Sioux in the rankings, this might not be such a good thing. I still like to see upsets though. Too bad we need to worry about how other teams are doing to help us out.

Get'em good! Then maybe it will be free next year once they feel bad about their screw ups.

Just logging in. That is sweet that BC got swept. I hate the east coast and especially Boston.

UMDDOGZ I don't understand why it cost so much for replay in an arena. Don't they just need a video camera to tape play and then rewind it? Especially if the game is televised. Wouldn't the referees just need a tv and watch the replays as we see them?

Lots of shot blocking and probably good goaltending again. Hopefully we can break it!

What is girls high school hockey like in North Dakota? They don't still play ringettes do they?

How long do you all think it will take for UND to have a powerhouse womens hockey team, if ever? I would think with our facilities and some great coaching, we would be able to be a top team and compete with the gophers and bulldogs. I just got back from the 7-0 loss to the gophers and we didn't look too great. I understand that the gophers are the best with Darwitz and Wendell, but I still expected a better showing and perhaps a goal or two. There were about 10-15 Sioux fans there as well as myself and it would have been nice to have had something to cheer about. On a side note, one of our back up goalies was really good looking but still didn't compete with number 11 (Albrecht) for the gophers. She was stunning. I was very impressed with the level of play and nice moves here and there, but I missed seeing the checks. It would be nice to watch the gophers lose a combined total of 8 games some season to mens/womens North Dakota hockey once we get better. That would be the ultimate sweep!

I knew St. Cloud was still tough, which they proved after beating CC. Many people here thought a sweep over St. Cloud later on would be a sure thing.

When was the last time the Sioux were NOT ranked in the top 15? It's hard to believe that other teams such as Harvard and Colgate are ahead of us. PCM would probably know this. 1 Boston College (21) 17-3-5 579 1 2 Colorado College (18) 23-4-3 575 2 3 Denver (1) 20-6-1 517 4 4 Wisconsin 20-7-1 457 3 5 Cornell 16-4-3 416 6 6 Michigan 20-7-3 407 5 7 Ohio State 20-7-3 330 9 8 New Hampshire 18-7-3 307 7 9 Minnesota 20-11-0 293 8 10 Harvard 14-5-2 263 10 11 Mass.-Lowell 16-6-4 198 12 12 Colgate 19-8-1 161 11 13 Boston University 15-10-2 117 14 14 Maine 15-9-6 80 15 15 North Dakota 15-12-3 40 13 Others Receiving Votes: Northern Michigan 26, Nebraska-Omaha 9, Dartmouth 8, Bemidji State 7, Vermont 6, Alabama-Huntsville 4
