  1. luapsided...nice classless response. You must be a grad of the John Kerry school for boys.
  2. pairwise still has UND tied for first, your tough early schedule is paying off. Argueably the toughest schedule thus far.
  3. I have a better idea. Take the Gophers with you and play BC one night and BU the next. Make this like the college hockey showcase with WI, Mich and Mich State. The next year the Boston schools come west. Those games would be fun to see.
  4. I would think that with the resources REA has, they could get the Wisconsin FSN feed to Sioux Sports, they should do that for all away games IMO. As far as the MN feed, that won't happen as they as you know have a contract with the Gophers. Looking for the Sioux to sweep oin Mad-town! Go Sioux!
  5. taz, mariucci was empty sunday, Gophers swept!
  6. lawkota, no not in han..but hold season tickets
  7. Taz, oh i will be in GF next november, wouldn't miss it, already have my tickets. we can disagree all day, the atmosphere in REA is not college, you can bash Mariucci all you want but i would rather watch a game there than REA. of course i'm biased, i'm a u of m graduate thats in me so cool off. the most noise in REA, including the Denver series was when they blasted "welcome to the jungle" every chance they got, what a special place. Where were all the Sioux faithful on sunday night of that series talk about empty seats. man, that gopher hate runs deep
  8. great conversation until you came along farce poobah, what a stupid comment. No Mariucci is not as plush, that is obvious, no arena is, especially one built with public monies. However the atmosphere there will never be matched by REA. The band marching around the concourse pregame, students actually know the fight song, and participating in cheers, a band that plays all game long... that is college athletics. The weekend of the regional was unbelievable in that place, far from cold. Don't get me wrong, the new Ralph is great...we are still undefeated in the palace. Thank you Ralph. Teams don't dread the trip to GF like they used to, the old place was tough on opposing teams.
  9. The new Ralph continues to screw the students and by doing so you have lost that hostile home ice andvantage you once enjoyed. The atmosphere in the old Ralph was college hockey, I feel like I'm at a professional arena in the new Ralph. Hope they can do something to change that, was much more fun to attend games before. Putting the students in the upper bowl makes no sense at all. But money talks not just in GF but everywhere.
  10. Skateshattrick, do your homework man, Thomas Vanek just turned 19 in January, he's a whole 6 months older than Parise. The rap agaisn't him that he doesn't play both ends of the ice is bull. He has the one thing you can't teach...size, among, great hands, a quick release, surprising speed when needed..... I can't even count the number of times he comes out of the corner dragging an extra 200 pounds and makes sometlhing happen. Believe me, we wouldn't trade Vanek for Parise either.

    Frozen 4

don't say all gopher fans cheered for Ferris, this one didn't. I was with a couple of buddies who are Sioux fans and was as loud or louder in my support for the Sioux. However, was interesting to see and entire section of Sioux fans pulling for Mercyhurst and then Ferris the next night A Gopher Sioux matchup saturday would have been great. Will have to wait for early november in GF..Go Gophers!!!
  12. All the sioux games i've been to this year (3) Brandt has been in goal and has looked fairly good. Yea, Blais will keep you (and the players) guessing all week, that is part of the problem. Mentally these guys are not where they should or need to be. Go Sioux, be fun to see you at the final 5 prediction...Sioux in 3, with ot win Sunday
