a win would have been great, but a tie isn't the worse thing. if the team that showed up and played tonight shows up from here on out this team will win a lot of games. hey, we didn't lose.

it's nice to see OD's name in the lineup however, unless he is close to 100% I would rather go with someone else until he is closer to 100%. not worth risking further injury or putting him out loger with his current ailment

not to be devils advocate but yale was 5-2-1 last year at this point and 8-3-2 at the x-mas break. their troubles came in february when they lost 5 straight. but point well taken on the others and we will just have to see if history can repeat itself.

at this point no, as you have to have an above .500 record unless you win the conference tourney and get the AQ. so und will need to have a few sweeps and some win and tie weekends.

johnson has a staying in one place issue. way too many jobs in the last several years. whenever something "greener" comes along he seems to jump ship. there would be others that would be better than him.

win tonight, sweep st. lawrence, split at western and sweep northern would put us 10-7-1 heading into x-mas, heck even 9-8-1 would be a decent mark heading into x-mas. get healthy and see if they can go on some kind of run in the second half.

how low? und was in a regional final last year and it is only november. good lord. if this program bothers you that much, quite paying attention to it. all programs and seasons have their ups and downs. this may be a down year but again it is november.

I would also add conference we play in is a "little" different from the WCHA where there were some weekends where you couldn't play your best and still get a couple of wins. that isn't the case this year as I think most people would agree, where are you going to find 2-3 conference sweeps here on out? for me the near panic factor is just that, we are treading water now and I don't see a 6-10 game unbeaten streak on our schedule. maybe this is the year und sneeks in with a just above .500 record and does soemthing magical. I guess we'll see.

let's not forget and you brought it up earlier that 01-02 season. that was under BLAIS and that was probably the worst season in this program's last 20 years and on the same sublect of Blais shouldn't he be criticized and raked over the coals for that 04 debacle against denver in the springs. after all isn't Hak the only one who loses NCAA playoff games he shouldn't? I'm not directing this at you MafiaMan by the way.

I will say this about the gophers, they are really good and have everything lined up for them to make a run at their sixth. if they don't make it to philly this season, their fan base can rev up the fire lucia threads because there should be no reason they don't make their, because they won't have to leave their backyard for any tournament in march.

I would agree, why bring OD, MarkMac and St. Clair all on the trip even if they aren't going to play and leave Rodwell at home. Unless he was given a code red earlier this week and is in really too tough of shape to go.
