I thought he officiating was pretty decent last night. however, tonight I put the over/under on gopher pp's at 8.

I thought we played pretty decent that game we jumped over them early and and won essentially 6-4(with no empty netter)

Hill said it on beyond the pond this morning and he also said that the world junior kids were "tired".

but only 2-4 at the ralph.

I thought I saw in an article by Brad early in the year, possible right before their first game something about maybe notre dame,bu and or miami coming up here for a tournament or something?

I'm not saying miami wasn't a good team it was just that Goon ripped them all year long.

what makes them different from miami last year?

the games at the fieldhouse are a blast. been to the last two sioux games there and have had a great time. hopefully there will be many more down the road.

forgive me if this has been covered but will the students be here this weekend along with the band?

I thought they had a shootout last year and the gophers lost to like air force or something like that?

I've been reading on a few different sites, this one included as to how people are disappointed with the sweep because we didn't win each game 10-0. now I've been as critical of this team as much as anyone but having watched both games in person I can tell you the sioux came a way with a couple of very hard earned wins and especially on saturday night we could have had 3-5 more goals if a few bounces would have gone our way-but the bottom line is we won without getting those bounces. it is much nicer to win without getting bounces than losing without having any puck luck. BSU is a good team, not great but good and they will give several major conference teams fits down the road this year. I'm going to take a page from Goon's book and rip on AirForce for a second in that BSU does it the right way and they have scheduled several WCHA teams this year and have gone 4-5 against them so far as opposed to Air Force who had one quality weekend on their schedule the entire which was against DU and CC. they will be a better tea for it down the road and should they make the ncaa toutnament I would not want to be a number one seed having to play the beavers.

maybe someone could clarify this for me in that in sat gopher game northeastern was called for delay of game when the goalie shot the puck over the glass which is not supposed to be a penalty in the ncaa. the nu coach was told the wcha interprets the rule differently. on friday in bemidji with wcha officials the bsu goalie did the same thing but wasn't called for a penalty. what is the differnece between the two other than it wasn't a call to benefit the gophers?

our biggest weakness' are we are vulnerable to a very good forecheck and have difficulty clearing the zone as happened numerous times this weekend. plus opponents shots from the point scare the hell out of me as a lot of goals have come from there i.e. last nights first and third goals.

and theirs came in the final 11 seconds. I would think that will be different tonight.

2 years ago in bemidji we got out to a 2-0 first period lead, they tied it early in the 3rd and fabian scored with about 3:30 left to win it. the next night at the ralph the beavers got out to a very quick 2-0 lead but we came back and won 6-3.
