I don't agree with that I remember I think it was in 98 or 99 we went to duluth and won the first game to win the cup and the second night we got spanked 8-0 and that loss seemed like it burst our balloon as we never were the same and got bounced in a regional.

If possible the west will have either the gophers, and if they don't make it either UMD or UND.

guess I should have looked myself instead of thinking someone else got it right anyway. DU wouldn't play Duluth in first round anyway so the seeds may be different but the brackets would stay the same as Michigan wouldn't play OSU. I did go back and change it.

UAA has played very well of late(including against us) I wouldn't book 4 points in Duluth's column just yet either. The fun part about this years WCHA tournament is that for the most part it will be like the NCAA tournament-lose and go home for certain teams. I would love to be at the X this year however my job won't allow me to that weekend.

Unless the gophers go to houghton and lay an egg this weekend they will get home ice and end playing a TUC team in the first round. so should the gophers get the X and win one game there I think they will get in as a 4 seed or possibly a low 3 seed.

I don't know if this has been brought up before but one of the biggest questions on this team heading into the season by some people was "where was the scoring going to come from?" well after yesterdays game the Sioux have scored 128 goals, last season they scored 129 the whole season.

BU beating UMass twice would help us with our TUC record. and Mankato getting 3-4 points as well would help us.

I actually took the chance that they'll be going there and if they get sent elsewhere I'll give them to my brohter in law who lives in the cities. I say even if the goophs make it as long as we don't matchup with them in the first round I think there is a 75% chance we'll go there. I'm planning on going to whatever regional they get sent to.

now if you sat in section 101 you might be able to have some input.

while we go to bed with thoughts of a one seed in our heads. that could bring up an interesting scenario should that happen(which I don't think as we probably won't go 4-0 over the next two weekens). anyway should the top 4 seeds end up being bu,notre dame,michigan and und in that order. would us or michigan get sent out east and the other end up at marriuci? granted should the gophers be a 4 seed that answers that question. I say when its all said an done we'll be the 6 seed.
